Can you Play Zombies or Ground War Splitscreen in Cod Modern Warfare 3 (Quick Method)

According to my search results, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 does not support split-screen co-op for its Zombies mode. Activision has confirmed that this is a deliberate decision, and there are no plans to add support for it in the future. However, you can play Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer in split-screen co-op. Only certain multiplayer modes support split-screen co-op such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Prisoner Rescue, Headquarters, and 3rd Person Moshpit. Please note that the split-screen co-op experience in MW3 is mixed. It’s available for multiplayer, but only for certain modes, and it’s still in beta. There are also some known bugs and issues. If you’re planning on playing split-screen co-op in MW3, be aware of the limitations and be prepared for some problems

Should say Xbox Live Gold required on the games case. I've always been able to play zombies by myself... Now you can't? It won't even let me click into the zombies menu without it.
