so there is a trick you can do in speedruns called results screen skip, where you stand in front of an exit door, pause the game, hold up, and press exit level to immediately leave the level while keeping all the collectibles you got in the level. If you do this on fastfood saloon, while peppino is falling you can keep holding up to interact with mr. stick and buy the boss gate, saving the time it takes to go from saloon to mr. stick. it's called vigilante upwarp and i swear it's not an updog joke.
