If you aren't getting high lift on all the doors you might as well continue using drawbar operators. jackshaft operators are pretty boring in my opinion if they aren't on a high lift. I would keep what you had instead before it was a really cool and unique setup. Converting the springs is a good idea, extension springs are pretty sketchy.
I want jackshafts because it will make the garage look a lot more clean, especially with the drywall. Plus, I have my test door to test all my drawbar openers.

Yes I did. If you look at one of my more recent videos you can see that I had the 8550WLB on the haas door for a few weeks.
