I didn't realise that they were divorcing. That makes this "comedy" even less amusing than I'd previously thought. Very sad news for them and their daughter.
Yep. It’s the weirdest comedy bit to exist in the past decade. A couple that genuinely didn’t like each other just airing their dirty laundry. Incredibly depressing.
I stopped watching 8 our of 10 Cats because Rchardson came cross as so spiteful and mean-spirited. My partner and I went to a recording of the show: the vibe was awful. I remember Henry Winkler and Henning just being left abandoned as the rest of the cast walked out en masse for their break. Sean Locke and Jon Richardson, in particular, came across as really nasty.
They are both so witty. It’s hard for two funny people to be in a relationship because they’ll try to outwit the other and it can become competitive. Best of luck to both parties

@dentistry42 Yeah. Because people are always getting divorced over the size of their husbands nipples. It's supposed to be funny. You can see they are so secure in their relationship that they can say whatever they like and it won't make a blind bit of difference.
@@dentistry42so do you think they would last longer, if they didn't criticize each other? Even if this was their real feelings, and not just a gag for TV, airing this stuff out often makes a relationship better. It's definitely better than burying that shit deep down emotionally, until you just can't take it anymore. These are the relationships that don't last, the ones that can't be honest with each other.
They probably kept going as a long as they did because they play off each other and have a sense of humour so can let things goooo as Lucy says. John is right though about the whole trying to start a job and not being allowed to finish it before 'something else important' comes up...

I suspect what we’re witnessing has already been happening in private but I really don’t need them to do this for my entertainment. I’m a child of divorce and this stuff just puts me on edge. I don’t like watching families hurt each other.
@@northernsnow6982 Are you sure? @Thomas-ps9qk So what? Why do you care? Did you have money on their relationship? Or are you still under the Christian belief that everyone should be soft, always love each other, and couples should stay married to one another to the end of time? Some people are talking like these two were the ones who destroyed marriage as we know it, and nobody before them got into a relationship they didn't like. While others are acting like they are the only people who have seen them bickering. As if them noticing was going to change these peoples' lives and how they feel towards each other. Then there are others who are treating this like this was Rihanna and Chris, acting like there needed to be some kind of legal intervention that needed to take place. This was a marriage between two people. Only those two people truly knew what was going on. So only those two people could fix it or end it. They thought that because of their similar comedy style, they would mesh together. Little did they know their personalities didn't quite click. It happens, as that is life. What they do with their lives shouldn't affect ours, and we shouldn't assume control of their relationship. That is the action of a soft person who can't handle other people's emotions, let alone their own. That's not exactly the type of person I want to help me with my relationship, especially when they don't know me and they are online strangers. Oh, no, two people got a divorce. The concept behind divorce has been around longer than the Bible has, so get over it.
@Thomas-ps9qk Peoples negative look on divorce is heavily based in Christian beliefs. That is the only reason I mentioned it.
