British Army Tests Ghost Robotics Dog-Like Quadruped Robots

- The British Army 16 Air Assault Brigade have recently taken delivery of two
GhostRobotics Vision 60 Quadruped uncrewed ground vehicles (QUGV)
The robot dogs are to be tested and evaluated for their potential to perform a range of military tasks with a view of keeping troops out of danger.

Fantastic for minefield and EOD recon. Building clearance and passive loitering surveillance would also seem an eay fit.

We must not rely too much on killer robots, it would be dispoyalty and dishonor. Because robots don't have a soul, a heart and they don't know loyalty and honor. Winning wars requires human soldiers who have hearts, souls, and who know loyalty and honor!

LMAO, the hype for robot soldiers has gone too far. All the 'suspenseful' voice overs in the world won't convince me that a soldier with a well aimed rock won't permanently disable this. Hell, I'd be more afraid of an 8yo child with an .22 cal. This video should be removed for sheer stupidity.
I think what’s most important is the price. Soldiers are expensive to train, kit out, support,with crap like this costing around 10k now, when the economy of scale still isn’t fully in yet is a signal of what’s to come. On the application side, you can set up a fully armed position that requires no additional supplies besides electricity. And there is no letter and a folded flag for mothers of a pile of plastic. Expandable is the word, always has been in war
