For those of you wondering how he saw the symbols for the Apothicon Egg so early, here's how: 0:30 - Canals District - He stands in the corner near the Kuda looking up into the window to see just the corner of the "double fast-forward symbol" (a few feet above the silence is golden sign). 0:58 - Footlight District - By standing on top of the building in the glitched out way, you can see the "plus symbol" at the bottom left under his tentacle. (This works because he's in a spot of the map that the developers didn't intend you to go and most game textures like walls only load when looking at them from one direction to save on memory.) 1:57 - Waterfront District - By jumping on top of that building and looking to his left he can see inside the window with the "long arrow" symbol. 2:20 is where he inputs the symbols if you wanna confirm lol. Hope this helps!
I asked ChatGPT how many possible combinations there are when selecting 3 out of 9 characters, and when the order doesn't matter. I got the answer 84, which would mean that with each attempt, you'd have a 1.19% chance of guessing the correct symbols. That's actually not that unrealistic if you try it right at the start of the run :D

Sub 19 min is def doable, but judging by your best possible time, there might even come a day that it will be sub 18. I would have never guessed that in a million years when i first started playing.
