I couldn't stand even 15 mins of kgf. But never ever would I criticise it, it's not my type so I better step back. Movie is about entertainment, how many people you entertained is all that matters, not who you entertained.
Pushpa 2 knew what it was doing, and it does that perfectly - its bigger, its better and its crazier than first part. Thats why people are loving it. I didn't like the first part because of its screenplay and unnecessary scenes or maybe my expectations were different. But this time, i knew what i was going for. I enjoyed this more than recent mass masala commercial movies like pathaan, jawan, kgf and salaar - its entertaining and sometimes thats what we want instead of judging every movie with same lense because movie is a celebration of a character which is already so loved after success of first part.
Lmao for the first time im disagreeing with cinemaan pushpa 2 was awful and yeah kgf 2 was mid no doubt but not as bad as pushpa 2.. this felt like a filler movie without any satisfactory start or end
A guy/cinephile who literally creates video essays by dissecting cinema is saying he liked Pushpa 2, Strange! In terms of its commercial viability & entertainment value for massy audiences, its Ok. But in terms of narrative storytelling, its arguably among the worst movies of the years and in the category worst hindi sequels of all time.
