I grew up during their heyday and while I was more into bands that had come before like KISS, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath and the modern bands like Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies and even loved Beastie Boys but I just didn't get into the pretty pop rock or now know as hair bands. With all that said I didn't consider L A Guns a pretty pop rock hair band. They were gritty hard rocking dudes. A mixture of The Stones and The Ramones and it is a shame that they and other bands got that unfair label when grunge came in to power. There was a lot of bands that I was thankful about grunge ending but L A Guns isn't one of them.
Phil and Tracii are LA GUNS, I like all the guys. Maybe Tracii wasn't feeling good or had something important to do, it's not like he wasn't coming back, so they still rocked it as always.
