I am former coach. UNC issue is starting lineup and rotation. You start RJ, Seth, Ian, Withers and Lubin. You have fire power and athleticism. You also have toughness. Withers also can shoot and somewhat defend. He also makes them bigger. Ian would need to work on defense but is more talented than Cadeau. You can run offense through 3 guys who can score and put defense on hills from all areas of the floor. No pressure or trapping just play man and zone. I could go longer but this would give you better redults. You also work this unit hard in practice. You would get huge results. Powell, Cade, Cadeau and rest of the bench could be part of a rotation.
Yes I agree unc poor roster building in the offseason to find an true post presence is really hurting this team plus RJ and Ian the two players that can create their own shot if we choose to play half court offense, so that being said we need to play harder on D create turnovers to get easier baskets. Teams game plan for us is just to easy right now load the paint dare us to shoot outside
Unc fan who used to hate duke, but not anymore....i enjoy watching john scheyer coach..he doesnt bark at the refs all game like K did ...when things are going bad, he is calm and seems confident and in control...you can actually see him giving his team instructions... And i love to watch Flagg and knieple ( ever how you spell it )...its refreshing to see a couple of if clean cut players with short hair and no tattoos .....i will be glad when thus fad goes away, i turn off many games because of the way the players look ...and especially Carolina....

Lol first of all, idc about how many National Championship games UNC has "been too". When you are a Duke or UNC fan you either win a National Championship or you DON'T. There's no inbetween. So UNC last Championship was in 2017 and Dukes was in 2015. 2 seasons apart. So yeah, let's tell the whole story 😆 🤣 😂

@keslertyner1986 my point was you're acting like 2015 and 2017 are SOOOOO far apart. You act like Duke hasn't won a Championship since the 90s or something. Ol Hubert can't land ANY recruits and that's why y'all are no threat. The one decent year Davis had. Congratulations. Even then, that UNC team sucked the whole year and was in danger of missing the Tournament. I love how you think some random new coach will come in and it's guaranteed to go back to "normal". I don't see Hubert getting fired. That was Roy's chosen one. I think as long as Roy's breathing, Hubert wont be fired.
Die hard unc fan all my life....I like watching good basketball, but since Hubert has been here, it's been hard to watch...He preaches defense ,which i love to hear, because roy never seemed to care about it...But all i see are back doors and un contested layups the whole game..3 pointers with a half effort to put a hand up .....i see awful defense..... When i watch other teams play like uconn, kansas and yes, duke...I see tenacious D.....they are aggressive and in your face.... Unc is the blue blood and the other perennial powers that is playing so bad.....all the other big name teams are all doing good......
Leave it to a Unc supporter to bring up Duke when Unc is struggling. Last time I saw the record Duke is a top five team in the country and Unc is garbage
