About 1000 guests of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of PNG, the governing council of our country, gathered to celebrate the Dedication of the Bahá’í House of Worship - “A Beacon of Light and Hope”, welcoming people of all backgrounds to pray, mediate and commune reverently with God, the Almighty.

The Bahá’í Community joyfully welcomes all to visit, enjoy the and partake in this most significant milestone crowning the 70th year of the Faith in our wonderfully diverse nation.
The Bahá’í House of Worship is open to the public from 27th May 2024.

What a befitting noble structure the weaving pattern symbolism of the weaving together in unity of all the tribes and people of this rich land. Rich in its culture, its spirituality, and its resources. Marc and Helen and our two children Maxwell and Shirin had the privilege of living and serving this great nation and its people for 12 years. Que hermosa Inauguración. Un evento de trascendencia mundial la inauguración del Templo Bahai de Papua Nueva Guinea. Donde mi consuegro Roger Edwards fue pionero y se estableció con su familia allí. Allí nació mi nuera Viollete Edwards y después él muriera siendo pionero en esos lugares. La efervescencia de su alma como de otras maravillosas almas han dado mucha luz en ese lugar. Trayendo un maravilloso regalo El Templo Bahai recientemente inaugurado.
