Agreed. Our rent has literally doubled in the six years we have rented our apartment. Now they're selling the house and we are completely beside ourselves. So thankful we don't have kids, idk how people are surviving out there anymore.
I didn't find a bag of diamonds, but I did find a wallet full of money yesterday morning while diving. I found his business card in the wallet and was able to contact him and return the wallet within 4 hours.
I perked up when you pointed out the birds. It's pretty amazing what you can see before anyone else has even had their first cup of coffee. I'm in Calgary Alberta. In the height of summer the twilight sun doesn't fully set until close to 10:45pm - 11ish. It starts rising again before 5:30 ish am. It's a double edged sword. You don't want to go to sleep because it's still light outside and in the morning the light wakes you up. It's not spring here yet. I got my fingers crossed though. I can't wait. It's been a long time this year.

The pineapple thing is a trivet. They are for when you bring hot pots, pans, and large hot dishes to the table. You put the pot on the trivet, so the hot pot won't ruin or burn your table.
Those egg cartons, of course the ones you found were not for eggs but that material is great for starting seeds inside then you can plant the entire container in the ground. Just thought I'd mention that. You guys are fun to watch. Thanks

If you clean with ammonia, be careful because cats will mistake that smell for urine and will possibly pee wherever you used it. I learned the hard way🫣
The wooden piece with the legs is a pot holder. After pulling pot off stove and need ingredients to coool quicker it allows air to circulate around whole pan… or just keeps pot from burning counter tops as well

I'm surprised that you didn't take the .25cents ones ,along with the recycled cardboard plant holders at time stamp 7:10 that would have been perfect for the yard sale . Edited to: you can put the drinks in a cooler with the ice packs you found and sell the drinks individually .50 cents up to $1 depending on brand at your yard sale 😊.
I have got my hubby into watching you guys and we are loving Bones! We adopted a black kitty last year and she is called Pretty Pearl! And black cats have so much personality and are very cheeky and naughty😂❤❤

Those paper/cardboard candle holders are great for starting outdoor plants and can be buried into the ground once plants are ready to go outside. The cardboard will eventually decompose.

I worked for goodwill and another charity shop. Goodwill despite what they portray throws out so many donations. So so many. It's disgusting. Employees can't take broken items. The charity shop was not quite as bad because small but we would leave things outside the dumpster and homeless people would get them
Blows my mind how much food gets thrown away over expiration dates. I know you said them weren’t, but ppl don’t realize, still good for a good while. Another way they send good food to a land fill.

The ice packs are also good to have around (frozen) when the power goes out. I keep two frozen liter bottles of water in my chest freezer. Cute pet costumes for Bones! You can cut down the signs (i.e. $3.50 to say $3). I found rolls of medium sized red dots in a Barnes & Noble dumpster once. I still am using them for my yard sales.
In Germany we separate the plastic and collect this in extra dumpster.14 days later they empty them and will make New plastic bottels. The same with glas.

Those pulp paper holders are perfect to plant seedlings in also for the compost heap.
Those containers that ship the candles in are awesome for plant starter pots! You can plant in ground they are cardboard so they decompose!
I honestly think my favorite thing you find and save are plants! They can all be nursed back to health in a loving home like yours

They all throw out a lot of stuff. I've been in thrift stores when they were smashing all of the glassware in the back.
I stopped donating to Goodwill, they are only in it for the money, prices are too high, they don't donate things they don't want
