I'm glad this came up on my page, and I'm a little upset that it didn't come up sooner. Now, when you said, "I made this wool jacket" I was intrigued and loved the color choice because I love a good wool coat. Then you went further and said that you added a heating element and it was at that point, that I was interested in having a jacket like that one in my size. Do you do personal orders?
Haha thanks for the kind words I wish I had the time to make them for other people. There is definitely a bunch of need out there for quality everything!
No one says how much their pack weighs with everything. I think many lie about the weight too. My hubs and I went backpacking and our packs weighed 30lbs with everything. We were just fine with that weight.
Going to need some hand warmers on those batteries to keep them from going dead. I'm also worried about you bursting into flames with all those heating elements so good call on the burn ointment :)

I think you can normally do up to 1/4 your body weight. It won't be easy on the knees but most people can handle it.

The bursting into flames is only if I get super cold
