I love how both your cats made an appearance this video!! also don't worry about not finishing, the Brian Sanderson book was like 1000 pages so I'm impressed anyways
Read the da Vinci code, maybe 15 years ago at this point. And that point in time it was sooo good and mind blowing, was I young and naive? Yes. Would it hold up today? Not sure honestly. But to your point I do enjoy an Indiana jones, national treasure kinda adventure so if you like that you might enjoy da Vinci code. Otherwise you can watch the movies
September House was hard for me to get into because of the DV.. also the daughter felt like a teen most of the book even tho she was supposed to be in her 30’s, I did like the internal struggle she had thinking she could be like her dad and the not trusting our main character and her sanity.
i felt like i remembered her doing some kind of "read 5" video or something where she talks about it but wasn't sure, so i went sleuthing lol, and in "i read 5: longest books on my tbr" there's a good 20min section focused on her thoughts reading it for the first time :)
London Seance was not good. I liked her apothecary book but London Seance had several incorrect vocabulary usages inappropriate for the time. Ouija boards weren’t even used yet!! That made me DNF
I don’t think you made a bad choice DNFing The DaVinci Code. To your point, the White Man wanna be Indiana Jones theme has come and gone… like early 2000’s gone. Not flying any more
The history and theology in that book is incredibly fascinating though. And nothing like it has been done since at least not to that scale. It's dismissed far too easily by the current gen who love to hate it and stereotype it before even really giving it a chance
ooooh taste test returns!! 🙌
I’m so ready 🫢
“Long winded clip….. feeling very Olivia” tea
Happy to see this series back! Would have loved a quick clip recapping how you felt about the books she initially recommended that you’d already read
your hair in that intro is just on another level honestly ✨✨✨
Coming over from Olivia‘s channel and instantly subscribed to you - love your vibe and I‘m so glad I found your channel.
18:50 that was the best summary/explanation of the Way of Kings that I’ve ever heard

Oh HELL yeah, this is my Olympics lol
“I look like those old-timey paintings of in-bred royals” 💀
we’ve been READY for this one 👏👏👏
The September house sounds so funny the way you describe it 😂

I also did not like the London seance society at all so I feel validated 😂
Also really liked Listen for the Lie, audiobook was so good.
I enjoy both of your channels and love how you support each other. (Even when you have different opinions on a book😊!) 😎📚

The ending of The London Seance Society was so much fun to me, and was one of my favorites last year!
I love the Words of Radiance section, did you do a video on Way of Kings as well?
