Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go had a horrible performance too. It‘s better to take a look at it after a few driver updates. Intel has slightly better specs than Z1 Extreme in scores, but it needs to be fixed to work better.
Rog ally sucks the z1 processor the z1 extreme is a lil bit better. I have them all legion go msi rog ally xplayer 2 pro steam deck. Msi claw is not that bad. You just broke and cant afford it. If you dont like it dont complain
And with that laptop you can play games comfortably in your car while you eat during your lunch break at work? While waiting at the dentist for your turn? While you are waiting for your plane to board? Lying comfortably on your couch with a movie / series of pit enjoying the game? Why do I want a laptop which I can only use on a table? That's what I have my desktop computer for...
I'm curious to see if you have tried Hitman 3 (aka WOA) on the claw. For whatever reason the sprint function doesn't work on the claw only. Works fine on other devices. I've tried reinstalling it, enable disable various options within steam (setting different steam controllers, connecting an external controller) No luck. wondering if you or someone else in here has tried and ran into the same issue
So I returned mine the day I got it, about 3 hours after I got it and seriously it was the best choice I ever made, picked up an open box ally extreme Z and I am loving it. MSI really shit the bed with this product

I'd forget about these handhelds honestly. If you care about power and performance that much just stick with a gaming laptop! You get all the portability without sacraficing any of the power/performance, running all your games at 1440p 60 fps 🤤
Now the claw works much better, however the power consumption is still higher than Steam Deck, but the MSI Claw has Windows 11, which makes the console more like a laptop than a console, at least that's how I feel and I often use it as a laptop

What gap does this fill, it's cheapest is still more expensive than the most expensive deck variant and performs worse at almost every level.

The fotnite performance is extremely poor, I get 1080p high settings locked 60fps at 30 watts on my ally.

Speakers and RGB buttons are nice but the performance is lacking with games, very disappointing for the price point.
