I feel like this fight has potential. Max mentioned the fact that the black blood forcing the order of what you break kinda ruins the creativity of the fight. I wonder if they could do something for mythic that gives a player a debuff to spawn the black blood on them, so you can choose how to prioritize a side. Or maybe a setup phase that lets you have some input in how the eggs are arranged to build your own strategy.
On Heroic, this boss looks like it's going to be a meme fight that does nothing like Sennarth. On Mythic, based on what little you said, it seems like it will really hard emphasize being like a "build-a-boss" fight. You and others have said this hasn't been executed super well on Mythic of late. I hope this one goes well. I always hope they go well. Kurog looked so good and played so meh.
Regarding the 'enrage' Tested the 'enrage' - and we lasted till 11 minutes. There isn't any 'strict' enrage from what I could tell. HOWEVER there is a soft enrage. Those black blood pools keep growing larger and larger. By the time you are done with all the eggs, the entire room is covered in these 3 big circles except for this small patch of safe ground in the middle - I expect about 30 more seconds until that ground is gone and then it's kill or be killed at this point.
Every raid boss video you've posted so far just has ranged DPS gapping melee by like 300-400K+ lol. Raid looks like it heavily favors ranged and wouldn't be surprised if M+ is the same.
@@dotftw1 Yes but the disparity is gigantic. I know there is tuning left but it’s sad how bad it’s starting out. Also, it’s not uncommon for the specs to be broken in beta, continue on during the season launch
@@TopicxWoW yeah true but you can easily understand from beta notes that they are only focusing on talents/bugs currently and not doing anything for tuning wise yet, except throwing some random %50 nerfs to broken spells/skills.
class damage tuning hasnt even started yet, most hero talent trees are completely untouched numbers wise too. whos on top right now is not whos going to be best when the game releases.

tuning isn't done. Almost every fight so far seems to favour melee as there's a huge amount of movement.

Bosses look alright but man the look of the raid feels very uninspired… A lot of grey and not a lot of detail in any of the boss rooms
