The Most Overlooked Equipment In YOUR Golf Bag?!

  • When it comes to new golf equipment, there are loads of things we are eager to test to improve performance, but what about the things we miss?
    We use our putter on every hole, and how square the club face is dictates 97% of the start line of a putt. So, should we be thinking more about how we hold the golf club and what grip we have on the putter? Golf Pride certainly think so and their new Golf Pride Reverse Taper grip is the solution.

    Great research Hannah! After listening to your review and a few others as well I went to my golf shop this morning to try them. The round reverse taper grip felt best for me and I like how it did in the summation of various reviews. I think you are right. Golf Pride is onto something here. I have a Ping Fetch putter. Although I liked the Ping grip that was on it I like the Golf Pride round version of the taper grip even better. My hands never felt so relaxed. Putting feels effortless. Like you,,, I love putting and I am certainly willing to tweak things with a new grip. It will be interesting to see how people do with the 3 versions of the reverse taper grip. I feel its going to be pretty popular. Thanks for a great review Hannah. I love your reviews. Joe

    Thanks, Hannah, for your thoughts on these grips. I've just recently changed to a fat grip, and my putting has improved. I recently used a friends "normal" putter with no grip change and it was like holding a pencil!
    Keep these videos coming. Honest Northern Lass!!👌

    Nice video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
    I have to get one of those grips to try. I am about a 8-10 hdcp from tee to green and about a 20 hdcp on the greens. My face control with the putter is horrible. I’ll take anything that may help 😀👍🏻

    Interesting design. I'd like to try that pistol model. I have a big chain sporting goods store nearby and maybe they'll have a demo or two. Thanks for bringing these to our attention.

    Good video, with excellent explanations on the differences.
    I’d still need to try out all 3 to see how they perform. Which could prove difficult on my old Ping JB5 as I don’t see somebody fitting all 3 on my club at different times for me to game.
    I’d say from your explanations, the Pistol would suit most.

      Yes that is the difficulty when testing putter grips! Maybe try go somewhere where they have them installed on putters to test maybe?

      @@hannahholdenNCG I can think of a few places, but, not many modern day putters have the feel of my golden oldie.
      I do have a limited edition TM Ghost Spider which I brought home from Spain, might try the pistol on that.

    When new products like this come out you always ask yourself is this just another marketing Gimic to get you to buy there products tbh i dont think theres much difference between these and the super stroke apart from the wider bottom.🤔

    • @hannahholdenNCG
      @hannahholdenNCG  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      These are quite abit different to super stroke in my opinion especially the pistol and flat models. Round is fairly similar
