I bought a Pixiu made of copper , however beneath the bottom surface of the Pixiu , there is a hole because the molten metal need to pour in., which is common in copper making.
Is that a problem or will it cause bad luck?

How can i ask the temple to help me activate my Qilin and Pixiu?
Good question. I know the Taoist/Buddhist temple in Taiwan and Hong Kong have "specialist" to do it. I am not sure how it works in other countries. That is why I suggest creating your own ceremony. Clean th statue, state your intention, pick a lucky date to place the statue. The connection is the basis of activation. Everytime you see them, you are remined of your goals.

Some people prefer a pair, but one is fine too. Nothing wrong with it.

Copper is still metal so it is fine. Most of the statues in the market are plastic with golden paint. Those are not as powerful.

Hi! I have a question to ask you, I have a PIxiu statuette (I think) that has a mane and what appears to be a pendant that has the ying and yang, it could also be the tongue, is it still a Pixiu? Except for these differences, it is completely the same as your figurine
