What were they singing on such an occasion? PRAISE! Psalms 113-118. THE GOOD NEWS "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6 Jesus Christ loves us! We believe this! John 3:16-17. We believe Him and who He is! He is our Savior! GOD THE SON! ONLY HE SAVES. Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR US AND LIVES AGAIN! 1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! HE LIVES EVERMORE! We can live forever through Him. God forgives our sins through Him otherwise our sins will prevent us from living in Glory with Him and our family in the faith the Bible describes. We study to show ourselves approved in wisdom and further truths about Him! We are in a family! God's family. CHRIST'S BRIDE! We got to know Jesus Christ better and better! Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more than, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him." HE LIVES! JESUS LIVES!

It reminded my childhood in Brazil when we didn't have instruments and the voices were the only "thing" we had to worship The King! Way to go everyone!

Murder or theft may be wrong to you, but not someone else. And we see this throughout history with certain tyrannical entities--they justified genocide and theft by their own "moral" guide-lines. But I refuse to believe that stealing is ever morally right. I believe it is always wrong, period. And the truth is people don't truly live by subjective morality--If I stole your smart phone, you would feel/know deep down that I did a wrong to you and that I "ought" to have worked to buy my own phone instead. You wouldn't say "well, his own set of values allows him to steal people's phones, so even though that made me upset...I can really fault him". There are objective morals....universal truths that we all know deep down. And you can only have an objective system if there is a separate instrument or standard to measure things against...and that has to be God. Without God, it's just 1 humans opinion vs another, but with God you have a separate, higher than human standard to measure everything by. ____________ I get that religion doesn't interest you, but don't you think it's at least worth a little investigation, if even there's the tiniest chance it's true--because if Jesus is real and the Bible is true, then Hell and Heaven do exist and they would last an ETERNITY.
