They specified that they need a card to place it face up on the field. The synchro still adds. Placing face up on the field is different because it skip actually activating the card or adding it.
They don’t have a way to do it in pure ryu-ge (currently) but in ryu-he dino you can play kaitototpera (spelling) and poly. Make horned saurus and on summon it places field spell.
Here are some suggestions... 3x Deep Sea Diva - Reason: Access to make Crystal Wing Sychro Dragon with field spell by banish Giant Rex, then Diva plus a level 6 synchro. and access to Cosmic Blazar Dragon by using Transcendosarus Glaciaursaurs and Crimson Dragon. Also this allows #29 Mannequin Cat as a first turn play to bait out ash blossom. And since deck runs almost every attribute the effect of the Cat should always be live. 2x Xeno Meterous - Reason: If you open with it plus the pendulum monster to search it will be a free special summon. Then you can add a baby dinosaur to pop from field spell to pop it then you will a special summon from the baby and Xeno. You will have to run 2 bricks which is a lvl 4 and lvl 6 normal monster but your field should have 2 level 4 and level 6 dino monsters. Make Dolkka first which will stop Nib since its summon number 5 then make Evol Lars which basically give you 4 negates. Then you use field spell effect then make the rank 10 then you have 5 negates. Of course you will have to cut back on some of the cards you're running now.
@ I was suggesting to run both but the field spell searches the diva. It’s the only good main deck sea serpent. Some of the cards would have to cut. Like the pill and the super conductor. There’s only need for one baby.

Yo, I needed these Ryu-Ge cards since Crossover Breakers dropped. I have been using 3 Ground Xeno with 1 Xeno Meteorus and 1 Frostosaurus because of how easily "Ashable" the Ryu-Ge War Zonel is. With the 3 new Ryu-Ge monster and the 2 trap cards, I can definitely swap the Xeno package when needed.
Probably not. Have to blame necroquip and the material requirement for requiem. Ryzeal shows how dangerous one card combos with the fiendsmith engine. It just makes the best decks even more powerful and bringing lacrima back will give competition to whatever duelist advance has when it comes to the tcg, and money is important to Konami
We laughed at Rex Raptor for splashing dragons in his dinosaur deck. Turns out he was far ahead of the curve than we could ever imagine.

What Ryu-ge needs is a card that places the field spell face up. So that way, droll, Lancia, and/or shifter doesn't auto-kill the deck.
