Lovely stuff, nice diesel knock every time the injector cam goed by!!. Maybe u should get something for this old boy to do? like pulling a generator or something? It gonna suprise u, it's strong my father had a smaller one, don't know where it is now though.

You've done well. I'm currently working on a 5ME and am trying to find out everything I can. One thing that I am having trouble with is, what to use as a slow burning wick for starting. Also I can only find this ( part 4 ) are there earlier clips?

Thank you for your comment, yes there are other videos on my channel.
The tapers are home made using blotting paper, sodium nitrate (saltpetre) and water, mix 10 parts warm water to 1 part sodium nitrate and soak the blotting paper then hang it up to dry, you can then cut it into suitable strips ready to roll up. Hope this helps.
