HW answer : 1. Factors affecting e.m.f. - The material of the electrodes and the electrolyte used in the cell
2. Factors affecting intrnal resistance: -
- surface area of electrodes - internal resistance is inversely proportional to surface area of the electrodes
- the distance between electrodes - internal resistance is directly proportional to the distance between the electrodes
- the nature and concentration of electrolyte - higher the concentration of the electrolyte, greater is the internal resistance
- temperature of the electrolyte - internal resistance is inversely proportional to the temperature of the electrolyte
3. e.m.f.- 16 V and resistance- 32 ohms

So I pointed out some mistakes in ur lecture and I just want to give a small trick to easily remember it

PAO = Positive Anode Oxidation
And also anion goes to anode and cation goes to cathode

Sir I have a doubt that SO2-4 got attracted to negative electrode but how can like charges attract each other
Actually the SO4-2 imparts electrons to the zinc electrode and H+ gains electrons from the copper electrode. Due to large no. Of electrons present in the zinc electrode it becomes negatively charged.
Hope this helps you.
Its battery mechanism
See untill the so4- ions will move to the zinc electrode that eletrode will not become negative charged ..... Like poles attracts unlikes pole that's ok but if a pole doesn't get generates before ,then how u can apply that with zinc electrode.... I hope have understood
@@shivaniguptaaaa26 but the zinc electrode is already -ve so why would it gain more electrons... Still confused
Its obvious.....negative ions get attracted to anode(negative electrode)

Factors affecting E.M.F-- Material of Electrolyte and Electrode used in the cell
Factors affecting internal resisrtance:-

Thankyou for your wonderful explanation
Sir flow of electrons is from anode to cathode because anode is positive charged but in electrolyte it get negative charged after accepting electron from ions and cathode gives electron in solution
So flow of electron is from anode to cathode and flow of current is opposite...

thank you sir.....Session was superb
Sir I have another doubt that when SO2-4 got attracted to zinc that is why it becomes negative electrode but by the battery flow of electrons flow through negative pole so it must cathode why SO2-4 is attracting it
Whole session was my fav part......💕💕💕
Zinc should be anode and Cu should be the cathode.
1st half is chemistry chapter : ELECTROLYSIS 🤣🤣😅
@@shazida2547 i just started my portion its hard for me
Alag hai mera bhai
I watched full session without any skip and understood everything about the topic.. thank you sir for this amazing session
How do the sulphate ions migrate towards the the negative electrode as like charges repel?
Konkon koddie...
Sylwala boodhi 😉
Yeenamm sidhee 🈁
sir two questions in electrolysis: if electrolyte is dil. H2SO4 then in that case the anons will be both OH- and SO4(2-) right? so according to electrochemical series of anions, OH- should be discharged at anode right? secondly, in the diagram, should Zn not be positive terminal of battery? these are few mistakes in video i think
Ya exactly zn should be the positive terminal of the battery
Brother both so4 and oh negative ions or anions are attracted towards the zinc electrode for some reason so now because of their high conc. Zinc electrode becomes the negative electrode or cathode ....the thing shown in the vid is not electrolysis it is happening inside a cell...obviously not in the form of a beaker but just to make us understand.
Ions getting discharged is another thing
Hw:-Emf is 32 volt,internal resistance is 32ohm

Sir everything was on the point except that, those are H+ ions instead of H2+ ions.
Sir, in the numericals it is difficult to determine that the voltage given is termial voltage (V) or voltage drop (v) :(
Can you do a session where you explain the emf numericals only?
Reading of voltometer will always be terminal voltage.
Was always scared of this chapter. After this video, everything seems to be so easy peasyyy
32ohms & v=16 loved the session from hw rocker Bidyashree Bharati of class 5 amazing session
Sir i have a doubt...... Current flow will be from Nagetive to positive in a circuit Or positive to negative
Sir zinc electrode acquires negative potential where it becomes anode and copper is cathode..what is the use of PANIC here..
EMF = 16V
R = 32 ohms
please sir reply
khy h seris dekhna compulsory h agr cbse wali dekhi h please
24:10 it's actually 2H+ ions not H2+
Nope
Sir doubts,
how do we know that zinc will become cathode and copper will be the anode?
How will electrons move towards cathode from anode inside the cell ? as outside they were moving from cathode to anode
The session was amazing🤙🤙
Since electrons move from cathode to anode inside the cell , now the anode has electrons so anode will send the electrons forward through the Circuit towards cathode and this process again gets repeated
Hope you got it 🤠
Good luck for your exams

sir i have a doubt.. it may be silly but plz solve it na.. what will happen to the internal resistance of a battery if the electrolyte solution is replaced with vaccum??? will the elctrons still travel?
Fantastic session sir... Thank u
Sir concise book me negative potential ko anode bola gaya hai aur copper electrod ko positive potential aur usko cathode bola gaya hai
As a result to zinc electrode acquires and negative potential so it is called a anode and copper electrode acquires a positive potential so it is called the cathode a potential difference called the electromotive force is created between the two electrodes of the cell
