Irie Jones
Irie Jones handsome hooooot!
And we'll educated too...so much class.
This guy is such a great actor. Nice to see him getting some solid gigs.
+paladin400 so smooth. he got killed by a woman.
libert1ne hell no!. mah man was killed by gravity son!
paladin400 if you're using that logic the floor killed him not gravity.
Mic stand
Black AND Muslim in Donald Trump's America...damn
Niandra Lades only 20 something percent of the US population voted for Trump. It's definitely not Trump's America.
And in a movie about positive discovery of sexual identity. This guy is so opposite to trump, it's amazing
Clementine I ask this as a black person: please explain how Trump has persecuted us
Gray Thought not really
I can start with him settling out of court with the Feds in the 70's for housing discrimination.
Man, his laugh is golden. Especially in Luke Cage.
Andy. Q I know 😬 that's why I clicked because I saw that he was laughing 😂 I love his laugh
What a lovely name. He's very well spoken & a great actor too. My favourite is still Remy Danton from HOC
KJ Same
KJ i can tell his real name was mashaallah ali but he changed it to that name because its easier to pronounce for people i can say that cuz i have that name
Actually if you look it up Mahershala is just short for his real name Mahershalalhashbaz
Ilia Sharifan his fullname when he was born is Mahershalahashbaz Gilmore
True. And his name does flow so smoothly...also reminds me of Hershey chocolate. xD
His impression of his grandmother is adorable
Terrific actor. Glad he's getting some recognition now and it's well deserved.
This man is everything right about modern day TV.
He has such a calm aura
"MY NAME IS NOT COTTONMOUTH!"
This dude was awesome!
Stephen Colbert is really doing a fantastic Job.. Never thought i'll see this guy on late night tv..Welldone Steve!!
Intelligent dude period

Cornell was my favorite character but I thought that killing off who was the main villain halfway through the season was a great twist. But Diamondback was lame as hell and his motivation, backstory, and goofy Judge Dredd costume ranged from laughable to cringey. He was a poor replacement. It reminds me of replacing Solid Snake with Raiden or Vaas with whoever that South African Jerk's name was.
I am glad the show spent the rest of the season showing the rise of Mariah and Shades though. Cottonmouth, Mariah, and Shades were all way more compelling than Diamondback.
DoctorWeeTodd yeah. cottonmouth was great and I agree, while it was a great twist to suddenly kill him off, diamondback couldnt even live up to half of his charisma or greatness. that's why I wish they wouldve done something different but I understand why they did it. really miss him tho. that slow laugh
Muhammad Daiem Is it just me or is that laugh based on The Count from Sesame Street?
yeah,when he played the solo
He is one beautiful man!!
He pronounced 'Muslim' so correctly!
Ahmar Saeed he is muslim
Nahhh he didn't, as a muslim you could know its "sss" like mussslim, not Muzlim
On the Top that's what he said
Doesn't everybody in America? Where i live that's not exactly a hard thing to pronounce.
Super Saiyan Goddess Nope. Americans usually say "Mozlem" or "Muzlim".
Ali said it right, "Muslim".
(u as in 'put' and s as in sand)
my man Remy Danton!
He's quite gorgeous
Wish they would've played "long live the chief" when he entered
jidenna son
So articulate. Can't wait to see Moonlight.
This man is so many levels of fine 😍😍😍😍😍
Great message! As long as the world holds on to good ppl I believe we'll make it on this travesty we call life.
Such a great actor. I highly suggest people see moonlight if given the chance.
This dude is a phenomenal actor. He pour himself into every character. I love watching him work.
Mahershala Ali is the embodiment of class. Also, the band did an exquisite intro and the segment was great. Thank you for sharing this!
my god I love him (and when he was talking about being black and Muslim I almost cried!!!)
Moonlight was the best movie this year, it is really worth the watch
best laugh ever
He's such a great actor. I have enjoyed all the movies and TV shows he has played in.

This guy is crazy talented. Loved his role in HOC.
i love this actor, hand some, honest, appealing, and smart.

Cottonmouth was done so well cause of him, shame they killed his character off so early
Cottonmouth was a fine Villain, fucking Diamondback spoiled Luke Cage for me.
My Man..
Michael K Williams and Mahershala Ali are everything in this biz!! love them!
Glad to see him happy! ;D
He was really good in House of Cards but Cottonmouth was the truth!
AND he's from Oakland?!!! Bay Area!
When he came out, for a few seconds there I thought it was Winston from New Girl
Always forward.
his smile makes me smile
don't watch HoC or moonlight but after the intro Steve gave I remembered him on HungerGames. still a solid performance on LukeCage.
Moonlight 🌚
this guy would make a great doctor as well, such a calming aura
That Bobby Caldwell intro was everything.
I gotta see this movie. It hasn't even got a release date in NZ yet.
Daamn that voice
why this man isn't a A-list actor in Hollywood is beyond me!! he's so down to earth, smart and philosophical, and understands the character's he plays inside and out! and above it all he's just a f'ing fantastic actor! loved him in Luke Cage!! i got mad respect for this man!
He was awesome in Luke Cage
The music at the beginning "What you won't do for love"
What a smashing guy, diplomatic and compassionate - a great actor and very easy on the eye too. I want to see much more of him in Hollywood movies, please.
One of my favorite actors!
can't wait for him to get a starring role!
Great fucking actor.
He gonna be on the show you got to watch on the computer...... bruhh lmaoooo
I remember him from "The 4400." Great actor, great show.
Ali received his first Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his role in House of Cards (many more awards - see paragraph below). That role is Remy Danton, a lawyer for Glendon Hill and lobbyist who works for natural gas company SanCorp during Season 1 and for Raymond Tusk in Season 2. Before that, he worked 8 years for Underwood as Press Secretary before leaving to pursue more money rather than Underwood's offer of power. He works together with Jackie Sharp during Season 2, and they begin a casual relationship that later becomes strained because of their business relationship. During Season 3, he becomes Underwood's Chief of Staff, but eventually becomes disillusioned because of Underwood's treatment towards Sharp. He later decides to stop working in politics.
FYI, Ali is the recipient of multiple accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, a BAFTA award, a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2019. In 2020, The New York Times ranked him #23 in its list of the 25 Greatest Actors of the 21st Century.
I think Mahershala is amazing.. I've been following him since The 4400.. He deserves and is ready for a full leading roll.. Very intelligent, insightful, and talented.. I hope and believe he will have a long successful career..
This guy is so talented... He's the best character in HOC and the best villain (behind Kingpin) in the MCU. Can't wait to see what he does next.
That guy is so smooth.
Beautiful soul
Remy Danton YEAHHHHH
One Day "My Schedule [Just] Opened Up" - Mahershala Ali's Iyanla Vanzant Moment. Masha'Allah. More success your way, I pray
he is so charming and genuine and beautiful and smart and I love him. like, I haven't had a crush like this for years.
COTTONMOUTH
Hey! The 4400 dude.
I'm old. :(
I remember too. I remember seeing them filming it in Vancouver. It was 11 years ago! He went by Mahershalalhashbaz Gilmore back then... He doesn't age...
My man

Bangladesh?
No Comment-Kd his name basically means god "masha allah" he changed it to mehershala ali cuz its more easy to pronounce
No Comment-Kd Bangladeshi Alert right!!!
same chaos yep
+Lamya Mosharraf
*Technically by birth i'm a Pakistani but i live in Bangladesh*.
Luke Cage was overrated. Interesting but overrated. Too much corniness...I'm black, I'm opinionated
where is his birth cert ?
Does he read the Qu'ran?
He is very religious so he probably reads the Quran
Black panther?
Francis Rodrick Probably not if he was already in Luke Cage. Remember the Marvel shows are part of the MCU.
LONG LIVE THE CHIEF!
This might be a (possible) president who most Americans would keep their fingers crossed to not deliver on his promises. The deplorable fact is that you can't blame him for lying either way - it was crystal clear what he was, which he didn't hide.
In the meanwhile, I, who never had a Twitter/FBook account, am thinking of getting one - just in case he tweets some of those top-secret codes - I might feel better if I know what triggered my evaporation
HOT MAN
Only good thing about luke cage
Great muslim man
Legend
Cottonmouth is definitely the best villain in the series!!! gotta love his tastes in music!!!
Haise Leonhardt I know too bad tho right
I'll never forget his laugh as cottonmouth, this man's unforgettable
Wow his voice is so different from House Of Cards and Luke Cage. Two amazing shows just saying!
Long live the Chief!!!

That laugh is gold
pfft real people know him from The 4400.
