True, if it’s not frozen food. I’ve seen a couple of dumpster diving videos, it’s a shame. The frozen foods I got doesn’t expire til a couple of months, I have two teenagers that are practically vacuums it’ll be gone by then.

YMMV. Try one of the UPCs. Enter the number in the barcode scanner, and under the price where it says “Shopping in-store at”, click it and look for a location that has that/those item/s at a penny, then go to it. I hope this helps.
Yes, I just finished watching Dollar Detective’s video. I knew that there was a difference between the packaging, but while making this video I had forgotten what the main difference was, I knew it had to with the red corner.

I recommend to write down all the dollar generals that are near you on a piece of paper, ones that haven't pennied. Scout those areas and see who is stocked up with those items and which have already pulled them out. Keep a UPC from one of the frozen foods written on the top of the paper. Every Sunday night at midnight, put the UPC code in the DG app, and you’ll find the new store/s that will be pennying that Monday morning by checking every store near you. If the price shows up as $0.00, that will be your store that has pennied out, if it hasn't already. You want to make sure that the store hasn't already pennied out. If it has already pennied out on the previous Mondays, then you most likely won't find any freezer foods because they were already taken by other penny shoppers. Make a route so you’re able to go to the stores with no problem. Best of luck!🤞hope this helps.
