Hi there! You can always go to a local jewelery store and they can fix your bracelet. It will be gold plated again and look brand new and the cost is really small. As far as your grandmothers bracelet they can reform it or they can melt it put some alloys and make you a new 18k bracelet so it can be wearable! Congrats for your new piece! Enjoy it with health! @@SamandVictor For you Celine bracelet it is nothing for them to gold plate it! Now for the 24k bracelet... It gets deformed due to the fact that it doesn't have any alloys to make it stronger. You will have to weight it and discuss with the jeweler what the final weight will be with the alloys and come to a conclusion about the design. You could make a plain bangle to match your Cartier. I would do it because the metal would be from my grandmother and I could wear it every single day without worrying! You don't have to go to an expensive jewelry store! Just look for one with good reviews. They corporate with goldsmiths so I don't think you will have a problem. In Greece they can do that any time. There is no way they can't do that in your country too!
@@SamandVictor Hey just saw your video now! I suggest getting a wax cast made out of the costume jewellery Celine bracelet, then getting it cast in YG or WG, whatever takes your fancy. It should be possible to get a jeweller to do that for you.

I opted for the cuff love one because I don’t want something to be on my wrist all the times and yes they get scratched but it’s ok you can’t really see them unless you look too close

Nice!!! Thin one looks so really feminine on u! (Interesting how they wrapped it in front of him, we always wrapped the item in the back!!! We say best to have buffing done when you REALLY need it , maybe few times in the life of the bracelet becus everytime u buff it does get slightly thinner if that makes sense!)
it's so tempting to get it buffed but yeah even the SA said they would turn down clients because they're worried the gold will wear thinner and thinner after each time. Good to know though! -Sam
