In case my memory serves me right, a U2 spy plane of the USA was downed by the then Soviet Union during the cold war period in their air space. There was a lot of hue and cry the world over.
That U2 spy plane flew/took off from Peshawar.
As rightly said by the learned Barrister the literature of the Soviet era was really very cheap and also available in bulk. I must mention, particularly the literature for the children was excellent. Even now when I am past 80 , I still have a few of those books.

Aaditya means sun. The satellite Aditya L1 is scheduled to launch on 2nd September at 11-30 am. It will go upto 12 lakh km above earth and will be stationed there. The place selected is cz a sort of void, where there is no gravity of any type. It will study sour storms and things like that. It is one of many space programs scheduled. Preparation of such programs take years.
Pakistan will celebrate idd, in the future, only after they have paid obeisance to the Indian flag on the moon

1) trains an individual's brain to comprehend abstract ideas eg many scientists also took an interest in music, painting etc
2) Brings a nation together eg. India's playback singers like Lata ji, Rafi sahab, Asha ji, Kishore da etc have a tremendous following all over the country.
Besides each state has their own icons whom people respect and follow.
3) Used as a form of meditation
India is probably the only country that has deep roots in classical music (North Indian & South Indian styles ), folk music, bollywood music, classical dance (Bhartanatyam, Kuchipidi, Kathakali, Kathak styles)
Theatre (practically in every state), Art (different design and patterns in sarees and dresses from various traditions and styles across the country...bandani, batik, kancheepuram, paithani, Kota, Tussar, Sambalpur, Assam....the list goes on.
India also has a large number of spoken languages and dialects.(btw Most Indians know atleast 3 or more languages)
The West has always done a great job in popularising their culture while at times ignoring India's rich civilization and culture.

Pakistani are worried about 70,000 to 1 lakh rupee electricity bill they recieved this month. In Pakistan nobody is interested in G-20 or Chandrayaan 3 or Aditya L-1 mission or BRICS expansion. Pakistan establishment are worried how they will purchase coal in coming months for electricity generation if most Pakistani refuse to pay this electricity bill amount on due date. Without coal import , complete blackout is inevitable in coming months . Pakistan is in deep crisis. If Pakistan govt don't recieve adequate tax them IMF bailout package money will not be recieved on time. Electricity theft will increase and overall revenue of electricity department will decrease.

Indian actors are regular invitees guests & even chief guests and judges at events like Cannes film festival etc for >10 years. In fact, many ott and English movies now have Indian cast and stories that spin off in Indian dimension.
