ARE YOU USING THE SHADOW FAEDRAKE? As of right now, Bertrand and Tohar are looking like they aren't field META. However... shadow faedrake seems extremely good for a city garrison. Thoughts? subscribe with notifictions on so you don't miss a vid! discord.gg/chisgule
This pet is for support I think , if you check Indis' first skill , its the same thing. You only need one of this pet in a groupfight to apply the debuffs on the enemy legion. Many underestimate support heroes, but with their help you can melt enemy inf much faster.
Follow-Up calculations: To get Painbloom damage, Painbloom x (1 + Forceful Painbloom + Resonance) = damage. Follow-Up then takes THIS damage and multiplies it by .45 to get Follow-Up damage. So yes, Forceful and Resonance are applied to both Painbloom AND Follow-Up.
Follow-Up is significant because it extends the Capture effect long enough to apply to the next Primary Hero casting. Your Pet will activate 5 seconds after your Primary Hero casts, and lasts 2s (turn 6 and 7). Follow-Up activates 2s after your Pet, so turn 7, lasting 2s (turn 8 and 9). Now IF you have an 8s Rage Cycle, then Capture will OVERLAP your Primary Hero's next Rage Skill casting, and it will benefit. THIS MEANS that if Follow-Up fails to activate, your Capture effect duration is too short and essentially does nothing.
THIS MEANS: your Shadow Hunter only has 40% accuracy. If you get Super Follow-Up then your Shadow Hunter has ~90% accuracy. If you have Enduring, then your Shadow Hunter has a guaranteed 100% accuracy for your Primary AND 40% accuracy for your Deputy to also benefit. If you have both, Shadow Hunter has 100% accuracy for your Primary and ~90% accuracy for your Deputy.
Final note: one area that the Shadow Hunter out-preforms the Sapphire Faedrake is in Behemoth Raids. People that are hyper optimizing for Behemoth Raids will likely prefer the Shadow Faedrake's damage amplification more than the Saphire's AoE damage - If they invest to make Shadow Hunter consistent enough. Note that a 2* Shadow Hunter can get a damage amplification of up to about 10%, which is Quite Significant in a Behemoth Raid.
It´s always good to have variety in the game even if this pet / hero pairing isn´t for everyone. We are already seeing some Behemoth fights where mage legions are prefered, so I think these heroes and pet will have their time to shine there also.
Hey chisule, I have a question about rise of kindoms. I have a account with decent power but everything else is pretty low, people suggested I do a sleeper but I just wanted to attempt to get the best idea I can get
I think its better to double the duration by follow up , than spend a season end 1st place reward to get +4 sec duration , if you think about that is only 6% dmg boost , 6% is very low for a cost of one slot and the cost of the 1st place reward , how many times you gonna win the season while you playing the game and you still need like 3 season end rewards to max out a pet build. Better just to go for pure pet dmg with follow up, especially if enemy removes the debuff , follow-up applies it back again, but again 6% is very low dmg bonus, you can get more dmg from different sources.
I think you’re essentially making the argument to get a different pet entirely. I’d say the value of the damage taken by the target being elevated is particularly good if you’re defending your city
yes I agree on that , in the case if you use it as garrison pet , I was talking about if you want to use on the field, maybe it can be useful in a rally vs rally situation too.@@Chisgule

@@TheProfessor0088Behemoths are immune to all Debuffs and Impairment Effects. Are you sure the damage amplification from Captive still works?

Might go well with Atheus Thiea combo since Atheus does single target damage... this will help him pack some more punch 👊
Good video. please make a video for Sand Lizard. people underestimate this pet
Your take on applying elemental harmony 3 star here?
So basically we waited 3 seasons for bad mages.
