Some people don’t understand how instrumental the number pad and arrows are on mpc's. They will put the data wheel to shame 😅 Love watching you work the machine 💪🏾
Great tutorial. Really liked the advice about sampling the left vs right speaker to isolate specific instruments. I'm still saving money to buy my record player, preamp and some records. Definitely gonna use your videos to guide me once I get going. Thanks again.
Too many 'you can't do that' and 'you have to do it like that' rules but yeah, I know for beginners rules are good to learn. I don't care about the time signature of the source sample or the start of the measure of it. I just make it fit to the rest of the beat. Extra-super-secret-pro-tip :) : switch the polarity of the left or the right channel, then pan both channels to the center of the stereofield. You'll get rid of all the sounds that are in the center of the original recording (most of the time bass, kick, most of the snare, most of the vocals). But yeah, good tutorial videos for the MPC3000. thumbs up
Hi,just read your comment, can you tell me if i got this correct? I got a fireface 400 soundcard and i have on every playback/output channel a option to invert the phase. What you say is that afterwards i can convert my sample into my mpc into a mono signal and i will have only the information from the non-inverted channel? Did i get this right or..?
You have to use a basic mixer. Your 2 mpc enter the mixer and the outputs of the mixer go to your 2 monitors. A basic mixer must have jack 6.5 inputs. You can find basic mixers of good quality for 50 dollars. Like the Mackie Mix 5. I use it. And it is perfect.
You always have to trust a guy who wears a costume jacket and has a Mpc 3000! Thanks for sharing the knowledge, much appreciated!

Yes, I did it myself!
How do you connect two mpcs to studio monitors if you only have one pair of studio monitors?
You have to use a basic mixer. Your 2 mpc enter the mixer and the outputs of the mixer go to your 2 monitors. A basic mixer must have jack 6.5 inputs. You can find basic mixers of good quality for 50 dollars. Like the Mackie Mix 5. I use it. And it is perfect.
