Smaller battery,
Half the power,
No Harman Kardon audio,
No 360° camera,
And just 3 lakhs cheaper. I seriously wonder who the target audience is for this variant. It looks like a completely dumb move from Volvo.
I would be amazed if they sell 50 units of this variant in a year.
Volvo c40 car cathes fire in chattisgarh watch video on youtube its a horrible car
That is a good pricing strategy actually because it helps upsell to the more expensive model. I think cars use it all the time when they price their base variants with such dud features that they literally force people to skip that and buy a higher variant instead.
Great review as always.
That's a nice alternative thinking.
Electric cars are not suitable for Indians and for Indian roads.. because still it is not affordable and expensive to replace the parts... however when comparing other EVs like BYD ATTO 3...IONIQ 5..EV 6... Mercedes EQA..BMW IX and Audi q4 E Tron... this XC 40 recharge is good enough for enjoying quality and reliable vehicle in india.
Volvo marketing seems to be doping --- do they even understand india market --- who would buy this againsy byd seal and hyundai ionic --- already hardly there were any sales earlier --- this is dead on arrival
Because it’s a Volvo!
It's all wheel drive......
@@praveenkumarmoorthy7069 byd seal is also all wheel drive and all wheel drive in byd cost only 4 lakh extra --- who is going to pay though nose for this
4.9??
Volvo should’ve priced it at 50 lakhs to make it a more interesting prospect. 55 is too much for what it is, given the value of the twin motor xc40 and c40
No wonder, if volvo sales figures are so paltry.
Now a days the Volvo the Kia and the Hyundais are coming up with too much of cost with very less built quality with bad looking designs plastic at all sides tech wise nice but others all waste
Dead on arrival
Evs are expensive to buy with poor resale value.
True
please don't present personal opinion as a fact.
dumb move...
Slower 0-100km 7.3sec😂😂 but no 360 camera ? ye kya h jab sabhi brand basic feature de rhai h to inhe kya problm h
Not vfm
True
Just when I thought someone sensible has joined Volvo India, the market positioning of this car in terms of price is a huge let down!
Classic example of Dead On Arrival. So many misses and just 3 lakh less than AWD. All the best Volvo.
The only thing better about this was twin motor
Dead on arrival ! Hyundai Ioniq, Kia EV6 and even BYD Atto 3 are far better in terms of equipments, features, looks, price and range
It's about brand, not product. All the products does not offer safety of volvo
@@bharathvrao691 Why can't you have all, safety with features, looks, price and range
But can it burn ? 😜
Hello there. Please suggest an upcoming EV, at around 11-12lakhs budget. All that I've checked are not up to the mark.
Please help! 🙏🏻
4.9??
