It would be necessary to mention that these declared weights belong to the top-of-the-line models without pedals, typically priced in the five-figure range, while entry-level models can weight up to 2 kilograms that claimed.

I do love my Trance X Elite 3. The top-of-the-line Elite is 18.8Kg (I'm guessing without pedals, but not sure). My El-3 with pedals, OneUp bars, lighter saddle is 20.7 Kg. Buy 2 and have change left over! It's a crazy value!

I have the M10 2021 Rise , do you find the rear end a bit wobbly? Hard to explain but at speed on fast descents it feels loose , I’ve had it checked out they couldn’t find anything wrong, I’ve had the fork and shock serviced at Fox . Is the Orbea Rise not designed for fast rough descents due to the Suspension travel ?

I ride an Orbea Rise M10 and a Mondraker Levl R. I am looking to replace my Orbea Rise. I am looking or a more stealth design, as the e-bike haters in Colorado are still active. The E-Bike haters must be defeated by keeping them blind as possible, at least for a year or two before they get hip to these mew designs. I am looking at the Mondraker Neat. It looks as if it has some of the attributes of the Crafty and the Level (my top choice full power e-bikes). The other bike that I am considering is the Santa Cruz Heckler SL. I really prefer the extra power of the Fazua Ride60 motor over the TQ. Also, I have a local dealer that will be carrying them. I would love to see a test of the Mondraker Neat! Ebikes are insanely overpriced, under development, lack technical innovation, and being limited to 19/20 mph blows ass. Unfortunately doing mods to increase speeds to realistic peddling speeds voids all warranties. BS. For the same price and much less then e-bikes you can purchase a superiorly advance full on electric dirt bike. Just goes to show the margin and technology gap.

These bikes are not for full powered riders but for those Hybrid riders who don't know what ebiking is all about and prefer analogue. Seems to be a manufacturers money grab. I had a analogue rider stay a few days never ridden an ebike and after a few 1000m meter climbs he then said I'm sold on these full powered ebikes. :)

How’s that a money grab? Some people actually want a lighter, mid power bike (like I do) and manufacturers are making them to sell to those people… that’s supply and demand isn’t it? They’ll never be as popular as full power but the demand is there, otherwise they wouldn’t be making them.

Agreed 👍 I see it as I said, we have Hardtails, XC, back country, Trail, enduro, DH, ebikes and now SL ebikes. Many categories for many different riders

You will be an old guy one day. Will you want one of these or sit on the couch watching the younger guys in TH-cam?
