      Dax Wolford MD check out frosttide they have some really good music. It's more orchestra and melodic sounding but the growls are pretty good.

    In my 5 years listening to metal, rarely have I seen albums so meticulously crafted, so epic and melodic. Yes, I know Omnium Gatherum, I know Dark Tranquility, Insomnium. And honestly, NO bands come this close to perfection.

      You nailed it down. I heard "Countless Skies" a few weeks ago and instantly had to play it again. I couldn't believe how great these guys are and I had never heard of them before. They have now kinda made everything else 2nd class. Just mind blowing.

    This album is motivating! Late last night, I sat outside in my Chicago suburb home listening to this album for about 3 straight hours as I worked. I woke up with the guitar riffs from Remnants playing over and over again in my mind. Awesome start to an awesome day.

    Metal is a genre full of amazing album covers, too many good ones to even count...but this album cover for me is easily one of the greatest pieces of art I've ever seen on an album. It is extremely thought provoking and ties in beautifully with their music.

    Was doing yard work listening to this album and two other albums by these guys straight through. Fucking incredible. They sound so much like Opeth before Opeth screwed their fans and turned all 70's psychedelic. I love this.

    Fucking hell, Be'lakor produces phenomenal albums. There is never any downtime, it's just great from beginning to end. That being said... I've never heard of a band that can close albums like they do. By Moon and Star, Countless Skies and the one from Vessels (I forget the name) are some of the best songs I have ever heard. There is an absolute beauty in the way they use persistent riffs with a progression in drums that eventually go to an almost saturated beat. There's a limit to how much I can headbang.
    A huge thanks to Be'lakor for creating such quality content. Seriously, I think I cannot thank them enough.

    I'm obsessed. Completely. I can't listen hard enough. That huge wall of sound that completely envelops you, time and time again. Damn tight band.
    My playlist at the moment is this album, and their 2nd album Stones Reach,
    Shadows of the Dying Sun - Insomnium, and New World Shadows - Omnium Gatherum.
    But Be'lakor are sublime. No question.

      Kalmah is definitely very talented.
      Though I wouldn't recommend In Mourning to anyone. Imo they're just not as good as many of the other bands in the genre. Gives them something to mourn over.

    I've been listening to metal, my entire life since I was 11, I'm 28 now. My appreciation for the genre defines me, it's classical music with fire in it's veins. This album is the most inspired, raw, and mastered piece of music I've ever heard, and may ever hear. Straight from my God, love you guys.

    People says Stone's Reach was them at their best, and no doubt SR belongs in the Hall of Fame. But while Stone's Reach is the one I would recommend to someone new to Belakor, it is Of Breath and Bone that I would take with me to a deserted island. It's great in a different way, spiritual and beautiful. The live version of Fraught can bring me to tears.
