How do really prepare for afterlife if we do not know our purpose or mission in this life? We were told and we were taught but the most important what do we "Believe" in. Do we believe in knowing a few things and repeating it multiple times or many folds (aka rituals), or we go through a process of As-Siraathal Mustaqeem (correction of Self) while increasing in the right understanding and knowledge (through the Qur'an about the 'Deen' and 'Mulk') for the purpose of establishing a strong relationship and getting closer to our creator (Allahh SWT)? Ironically, there is a profound quote which we can relate wrt. rituals: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results ~ Albert Einstein. Some wonderful takeaways (quote) about life philosophy from this session (relating to Islam according to the Qur'an): • Articulating the future of mankind while helping the past • Humanity becomes a future field where we may have plants for our own sustenance after our death. • Self materialising not only for those who are living, but also for those who already passed (we are effectively affecting those of the past). • Planting the seeds for those who have not yet arrived to the scene in this physical universe. Salamun alaikum. I still remember the qunut, salat and zakat then toil on the quran. For example, i have search for yunus just for practice. it surprise me a lot the word yunus in the surah is not repeated as frequently, in fact only once. And the words in the surah needed much of AL to understand.

Can you please explain what you mean by self development and what we need to do. Is it merely gaining understanding of terminology. So what about development of all aspects of human personality
Without the political distortions and misunderstandings what is emerging from the Quran is a message similar to those regarding unity and oneness similar to Sufism. But can it be called Islam as it is now understood?

All ilm, whether in the Quran or the worldly knowledge comes from Allah. Know yourself and you will learn more.
