'Few suggestions :
Keeping in. view huge floods , extension of last date be considered.
Suggestions:
1.Need of sending ITR V either digitally or by post, be reviewed and abolished. It is huge work and costs lots of money and in today's high tech world , it should not be reqd.
2. Till then , local income Tax (IT) offices be authorised and equipped to accept ITR V and give receipts to tax payers.
3.Ordinary post be also allowed to dispatch ITR V as has been the practice till last year.
4. Why this year Speed Post only has been
the option to dispatch ITR V? Speed post is about 5 times costlier that ordinary post.
5. Possibilities to open local centres during June and July be explored by govts/ IT dept to accept ITR V etc against receipts
6. Post office may be given some subsidy to accept
ITR V at nominal cost against giving acknowledgement for record of Tax payers.
7. On line status of receipt of ITR V by IT dept be fast. It is not updated frequently, causing anxiety to tax payers.
8.Refunds be issued maximum in 30 days of receipt of ITR etc by IT dept.
8.For late refunds, interest at FD rates be paid by income tax dept.
9. Suggestions from people be invited for more improvements.
10.Practices of developed countries be adopted to the extent possible.
11. Form 26As and TIS/AIS be merged into one document.
Presently entries of TIS cause confusion and are sometimes misleading.

I have filled ITR2 recently, but didn't filled up quarter wise for dividend .However it has been validated by IT dept and submitted return.No reund status.Secondlly the figure of FD interest was prefilled without adding SB 's interest.Why???

Hello,I have a question when we check for mismatch in the amount between form 26AS and FORM 16.I am facing an issue like FORM 26AS represents total amount as Rs.X, Form 16 part A also shows total amount as Rs.X but the Form part B total gross salary amount as Rs.Y. will that be consider as mismatch?
The difference (Y-X) is only Rs.2. In such case which amount I need to consider while ITR filing?

I filled ITR on 16 Jun 23 however it started processing on 23 jul 23 and it is under processing till date. I have not received any query as well. It is really depressing when citizens r paying tax in advance and for refund we have to wait for months.

I filed on june 20th. It is now displaying under processing from 23rd july. Not sure when it can be closed, it's been 58 days. Very frustrating

Itr processing 7 July se start ho gya hai. Nil and no refund walo ka itr 1-2 din me process ho rha hai . Refund walo ka time lagega August ka 1week tak hota hai

@@manishswami7512 pahli baar ITR file kiya hai maine. Pahle ITR 1 file kar diya. Baad me dekha mera mutual fund ki sale bhi hai to maine ITR2 file kar diya. Then after dekha to F&O me bhi trading hai to maine ITR3 bhi file kar diya.
Lekin aab soch raha hoon.....
