Nyx would fuse harmlessly and go back to space or whatever, and Makoto would come out alive, but suffering from chronic insomnia due to having to stay up past midnight and climb a literal death tower for an entire year.

Not to mention there's no way to speed up combat animations, I just can't imagine the entire final night worth of fighting even with broken strats wouldn't take more time than this video is lol
@@SSlash 3:57-5:42 is a really fast final night but you're forgetting about all the time saved in the mid to late sections of Tartarus when you fuse the various lvl 10 slink devil personas. And also skill issue! You can EASILY beat the final night in well under 10 minutes if youre gamer enough. The "combat animations" that you complained about is only you making an excuse for your own poor performance.
I bet if you had a million people play this game blind, zero of them would find this glitch. So, I don't blame the developers for missing this. Even if they had sufficient testers, it just wasn't going to be found.

I know I'm late but yes you can go over rank 4 and Tanaka asks for different amounts of money each time and has different dialogue.
