    My first early teen crush!!!I was so sad when Thaao Penghlis mentioned in an interview that Tony had confided to him that he was HIV poitive....He would have been 68 years old today...He surely had more to offer! Rip Antony!!!

    It's nothing short of bone-chilling to hear the interviewer refer to "the untimely death of Jon-Erik Hexum", when she's talking to someone who -- unknown to anyone at the time, of course -- was ultimately going to die an equally tragic and untimely death. All I could think of was that infamous piece of film, showing John F. Kennedy's 45th birthday party at Madison Square Garden in 1962, where the star attraction comes running up on stage, a few minutes behind schedule, leading the emcee to boom out: "Mr. President, the late Marilyn Monroe". Within four months, Monroe was gone; fifteen months after that, so was Kennedy. The old joke will always be true: "If you want to get a good belly laugh out of God, tell Him your plans."

    I was in the hospital getting surgery when Hexum died and was at home with the flu when I learned of Hamilton's death...so I always felt kind of a strange connection to them.

    He was Wonderful in Cover UP.
    It was very hard for him to replace the late Jon-Erik Hexum.
    I Loved Cover Up.
    The network shouldn't have canceled it.
    RIP

    • @escpat
      @escpat 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately the show’s rating sank after the passing of Jon- Erik Hexum, so that’s why it got canceled. Anthony Hamilton was a handsome hunk in his own right but Jon-Erik Hexum had that special charisma that attracted people in addition to his good looks. It was a bit unfair for Anthony Hamilton as he had a big shoe to fill when everyone was comparing him to Hexum at the time. In any case, it is sad to see that both actors were gone too soon. RIP.

His life mission was another. I would have loved to meet him.He will always be in the memories of my heart.❤

      True that. He had that sexy manly man look, a classically handsome man with an amazingly chiseled physique and a suave narrative styled voice. I recall him in Cover Up and Howling 4. Ironically, he'd replaced his former Manhattan roommate in the former series, the late Jon-Erik Hexum. They both were incredible specimens of manhood who respectively passed way too early in life. Almost became James Bond and was about to beat Timothy Dalton for the 1987 James Bond because Roger Moore just retired after making View to a Kill. He tested for the Role. But Rumors about him being gay made the producers to pick Dalton Instead. Remember was 1987. Kind delicate situation to have a gay Bond back then.

    I just learned about him today. He's so gorgeous and Australian. It's too bad he died the way he did. I'm also a fan of the James Bond films. Though I like Timothy Dalton, it made me kind of sick to find out that he was turned down for the part because he was gay. Really?! People spent years covering for Rock Hudson, what the hell?! I didn't seem that he was actively trying to hide his sexuality so, good for him. America was f*cked-up in the eighties when it came to AIDS. I'd like to give Ronald Reagan partial credit for that. God, it's sickening!
