ภัทร หนุ่มทะเล้น กากเกรียน และ ปราณ หนุ่มเนี้ยบ มาดคุณชาย ผู้ที่ถูกฟ้าลิขิตให้เป็นศัตรูกันตั้งแต่ยังไม่เห็นหน้า เพราะพ่อแม่เปิดร้านอุปกรณ์ก่อสร้างอยู่ข้างกัน แข่งกันตัดราคา แย่งลูกน้อง เกลียดกันชนิดไม่เผาผี ทำให้ทั้งคู่ถูกวางตัวเป็นคู่แข่งกันตั้งแต่เกิด ไม่ว่าใครคลานได้ก่อน เดินได้ก่อน เรียกพ่อแม่ได้ก่อน ทุกอย่างล้วนถูกเอามาเปรียบเทียบเกทับกัน
แต่วันหนึ่งตอนที่ทั้งคู่อายุ 12 ปี กำแพงความเกลียดชังของทั้งคู่ก็เริ่มมีรอยร้าว เมื่อ ภา น้องสาวของภัทรขี่จักรยานพลัดตกน้ำในคลองหมู่บ้าน ระหว่างที่ภัทรยังทำอะไรไม่ถูก เป็นปราณที่กระโจนลงน้ำไปช่วยภาขึ้นมา เหตุการณ์นั้นก็ทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ของคนทั้งคู่เปลี่ยนไป แม้ภายนอกจะดูเป็นคู่แข่งกันเหมือนเดิม แต่ลึกๆ ข้างในก็ไม่เกลียดชังกันเท่าเดิม
จน ม.3 อาจารย์ให้ทั้งคู่ฟอร์มวงดนตรีด้วยกัน ทำให้ทั้งคู่ต้องใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น
4 ปีต่อมา โชคชะตาก็เล่นตลกเมื่อส่งให้ ภัทร เข้าเรียนปี1 เป็นประธานรุ่นฝั่งวิศวะ ขณะที่ ปราณ เป็นประธานรุ่นคณะสถาปัตย์ โดยที่ทั้ง 2 คณะเป็นคู่แค้นกันมานาน ทำให้ภัทรและปราณต้องกลับมาตีกันอีกครั้ง เมื่อภารู้เรื่อง ก็วีนแตก ยื่นคำขาดห้ามภัทรทำร้ายปราณเด็ดขาด เพราะบุญคุณที่เคยช่วยไว้ ทำให้ภัทรไปขอทำข้อตกลงกับปราณว่าจะแอบแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล เพื่อหาทางหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ให้ทั้ง 2 คณะทะเลาะกัน ปราณเองก็ไม่ชอบมีเรื่องเลยยอมตกลง
ทำให้ทั้งคู่เริ่ม “ความสัมพันธ์แบบลับๆ” ที่จะเป็นเพื่อนก็ไม่ใช่ ศัตรูก็ไม่เชิง แต่บันเทิงใจคนดู
สุดท้ายแล้วมิตรภาพบนความขัดแย้งของภัทรและปราณจะไปสิ้นสุดที่ตรงไหน ความลับจะแตกลงเมื่อไหร่ พ่อแม่จะยอมรับหรือไม่ หรือสุดท้ายจะมีวันที่ความขัดแย้งคลี่คลายหรือไม่

I'd just come off the high of Theory of Love and Not Me and I was afraid they ruined me for any other series. Bad Buddy had me cackling in the first few minutes, it's such a delight! I am so excited to binge what is revered as a BL classic.

I just began watching and I find everything very cliche... the engineering students, the enemies to lovers and etc, but somehow I'm finding it very entertaining and I like the actors.
Things you appreciate so much more on watching this series again, the looks of longing on Pat & Pran's face when they see each other for the first time in 3 years.... the offhand remark Pat makes "at least no one gets transferred somewhere else this time" accompanied with that shared look. They weren't enemies, and it's clear that even though they won't admit it, the missed each other.

This is my first time watching a series of this genre in general. A post mentioning this show randomly popped up on my feed on social media and the premise intrigued me with the Romeo and Juliet trope of sorts (it isn't the same obvious it's just what first popped into my mind) but in a modern context and the it obviously not being a tragedy and instead being enemies to friends to lovers.
I'll admit the silly sound effects were a bit confusing at first to me with how cartoonish they were. It felt strange hearing those in a live action show instead of an animated one. However it quickly grew on to me and it just added to the comedy. That's probably the point isn't it. The acting appears to be pretty good too.
Just wanted to say that I'll probably keep watching!

Pat Pran has soft spot to each other despite their family is "enemies". These boys have always my favourite. I don't complain about the series but I am complaining why when I am enjoying watching, it ends quickly ☺️. OMG P'Aof is the pharmacist 😁.

Their fight over who adds who first was low key cause Pat likes sneaking into Pran's room. 🤣 But seriously, it seems like the kids have no real problem with each other and the rivalry between families is the thing that bonds them. They know best the crazy impact the petty fighting has had on their lives and can sympathize with one another.
The dialogue is cheeky, the lead actors are gorgeous, the directing is sensational, and the story line is interesting. I am hooked GMMTV! I can tell this is going to be another solid production.
