Joey is one of the realest of our time!!! S/O to Joey!!! I just wished he dropped music more consistently, easily could have been one of the greatest of this era!!
Being someone who has done shrooms and lsd and other psychedelics, I’m here to tell you that they don’t give you any answers. They make you stupid and you think you are realizing things that you already knew all along. A bad trip may make you appreciate life for a while in the same way a near death experience would.
I mean this respectfully: You are missing the point if that's what you think. They make you significantly more self aware, they show you sides of yourself that you might "ignore" or may be unable to acknowledge. They don't fix anything....they show you the things you need to work on, and they lay the groundwork for what you need to do to be the best version of yourself. There is always more work to do, and there are things you need to do after your trip to accomplish these things. They are never a quick fix.
@@trapez77 You may very well be right. But life is busy, hectic, even chaotic at times. I own two businesses and have two children. Sometimes being able to focus on myself is a bit of a challenge. An intention driven trip has helped me reset, evaluate, compartmentalize, and refocus when I struggle to do so on my own. You saying "they don't give you answers" and "they make you stupid" is not only incorrect, but it's immature. They have sharpened my mind in ways I didn't know were possible. It has also been proven that they trigger neurogenesis, so your statement actually becomes even less legitimate. Just because you don't have the ability to use them to your advantage doesn't mean you should make blatant statements such as you did. Maybe next time, journal before your travels. Re-read what you wrote and focus on those things you wanted to work on. Set and setting play a huge role in how beneficial they can be as well.
@@rush_melo keep playing Russian roulette with psychedelics and eventually you will do major damage to your mind. It may not have happened yet but your lucky. I know people that have never recovered from a bad trip and will live the rest of their lives with severe mental issues. If you look at all the people that have done psychedelics and compare them to people that have never tried drugs, the people that have never tried drugs are much wiser and have more self awareness by far. There are a very small amount of exceptions but it’s true.

@@rush_melo you already knew the things that you needed to work on before the trip you just chose to ignore them.
