Wow! Thanks for sharing your adventures and thoughts. Your videos make us feel warm inside and give us a different perspective of the people of Japan and Japan itself. Your videos are my favorite! Please continue to make great videos!
Hiking from ryuzu falls through senjogahara marshland, passing by yudaki falls and lake chuzenji, all the way to yumoto onsen and then taking a bath at one of the onsens was one of my favorite experiences in Nikko.
Hi! Thank you so much:) The express train would be worth it if you want to explore as many places as possible, but otherwise I would just take the local trains and enjoy the view. I personally used it because the schedule for the express trains worked better for me, but i would’ve taken whichever train that came first!
My wife and i are planning a Tokyo-Nikko-Tokyo trip in last week of Oct this year. Can you share some tips on what to take note in packing to Nikko? It is not advisable to pack in hard-case luggages visiting Nikko?
Hi! Nikko is quite chilly so it'll be better to have an extra layer on top of tokyo clothes. In october, I think we usually where one long sleeve in Tokyo so maybe a jacket to go on top of a long sleeve would be nice. In terms of luggages, I think it depends on whether you'll be staying in a hotel or doing a day trip. If you're doing a day trip, a hard luggage may make it hard to walk close to the falls, trails but if you're staying at a hotel the trip to the hotel should be smooth and fine with a luggage. I'm not sure if this helped, but please let me know if there is anything I can clarify :)
@@tokyodoodles Yes. We are planning to spend 4 days in Nikko for sightseeing and hiking so we will be staying in hotel and Ryokan. We are afraid that hard luggage is too big to board their local buses from the train station to hotel (will stay 1 night in Ryokan then switch to another hotel for the rest of the stay). clothes wise we did your homework and have an idea of what needed. 😊
Really loved this video, you have such a lovely style of narration. Keep it up!

Do you affect this voice or do you speak like this normally? Because it's very cool.
This is my voice! 😅

I’m sorry, but if I keep every tomorrow, it would be the end of me. Please don’t be too disappointed. And remember, to never look back.
Foot walk over Shimanami Kaido all bridges, all islands, just beware of wild boars.
