Pulled a Horizontal Justin Herbert Kaboom out of 2 blasters I bought today at Walmart! I left Prizim and choose Absolute. Was the right call for sure 😂
Lucky enough to pull a CJ Stroud Orange #/299 out of a Walmart box. Picked up two and something in my gut said, “grab another,” glad I listened.

The general rule of thumb is if the parallels are just the letter foiling is a different color it's not worth it. Absolute, Playbook, etc. Thanks for sharing and falling in the sword for everyone.

new to collecting sports cards... bought 2 of these blasters and hit a base cj stroud in each. i opened a donruss and a prestige as well.. and these were my favorites by far.
I grabbed a box earlier in the week did all right didn’t lose money. Some decent inserts. No numbered guards though. Maybe I’ll go get another box or three. Lol

I think for the young collectors this product is perfect! Tons of rookies, a little shine here and there, some nice inserts that look different than other sets. I was lucky enough to pull an explosive in my first break of these, but knowing Panini it has a massive print line running through it! Great video as always!

Opened the best blaster of this today for me. I pulled a Trevor Lawrence Explosive and an Anthony Richardson #25 Gold! Unreal same blaster.
Bought a single blaster...Jamarr Explosive. I quit while I was ahead because I NEVER have that luck 😂
You get one Explosive/Kaboom every 10 cases of blasters. And it’s 2-3 Explosive’s to every Kaboom

Not a big fan of this product but the By Storm does look clean
Just opened my first absolute 2023 BLASTER and pulled a C.J Stroud by storm rookie card.
I got a CJ Stroud Base out of a mega box. Only got one box though. Not sure if I’ll get more. Prizm is one of the beast looking cards outside of donruss elite so I’ll probably stick with that.
We've bought 6 boxes and haven't gotten anything of note, no numbered or anything. I do really like the Star Gazing and By Storm inserts, but we won't be buying any more.
I like the new parallel, rock out Acme. #d rookies saved the day.
I got so lucky I got my first 2 boxes at my local target last week and pulled a kaboom jaxon smith njigba
This is definitely one of the many products that used to sit on shelves for months if not years before covid.

You pulled so much Stetson Bennett cards i was starting to think this was a SLVRSport video lol. Quentin Johnston could turn it around, he's young and its up to him if he will improve or not. I wouldn't buy a ton of these boxes but 1 just to try and get a kaboom is fine. Thanks for the fun rip!

Opening up Absolute football is like opening up Topps opening day baseball but it's decent you can put them in giveaways and it can help younger audiences just starting out!!! So it's okay!!!

What do you know about the parallel blue Jordan love out of 99
I like the By Storm inserts and the Parallels look nice, but in the end it’s absolute retail. I’ve heard of people opening up multiple cases with no Kabooms. I’ll probably rip my two tomorrow, and skip every other format of this. Nice rip!

I’ve been watching your content for awhile now and I’ll say, I do enjoy your positivity and energy in most of your videos. Watching this one though, don’t do that to yourself and don’t do that to your watchers - just some constructive criticism there. You spent almost this entire video complaining and then stated, “I’m not complaining” rather talking to us about the hobby. The thing is, and I’m sure you realize this, the ones watching your content more than likely already know about the hobby and what comes, doesn’t come, or could come from Absolute blaster boxes. So many out there bash and complain about Panini, etc. however the boxes state what you could get, are guaranteed, etc. It’s one thing if someone doesn’t get what they have coming; totally different story. Absolute blasters and hobby boxes, every year, are exactly what you said - a lottery ticket. The ole’ “Kaboom or Explosive or bust”. Same thing, every year.
Continue being a difference maker. Keep the positivity and good energy up in your videos! Have fun with Absolute (knowing every thing that you and all of us already know) or maybe consider not doing a video on it.

while i totally agree with you and try to be positive in every video i do, this has just been a historically bad product and if something is not up to par in design, quality, and hits i feel like I have to say something before people spend their hard earned dollars on it. Trust me when I say i just enjoy the hobby for what it is and i am probably the biggest advocate of that mentality. I am still going to call out products I do not think are worth it and more people are going to be disappointed than not.
The fact the Kabooms are horizontal in retail is kind of the final nail in the coffin. I already hate this product so it’s too much now to even do the chase once a year.

I bought 6 blaster from Walmart and hit a Josh Allen explosive thought it was a kaboom from the look on the back but I guess I’ll take an explosive. Are explosive ssp?
Yes explosives are really hard to pull
It should get you just about all of your money back on the 6 boxes if you were to sell it. Haven't looked what this years are selling for but I would guess $200 give or take. You can get gold ones also but there's only 10.

I opened 3 and the best thing was a CJ Stroud By Storm. Like you had said for yourself that these would be your only ones, I won’t be opening any more of this. Absolute has never been a good product to me.

This product more aligned to have a good fun opening with your kids . . . Where that miracle may occur. Not your investment kind of product. Have watched a full case rip for some stats . . . #'d / patch / auto's:- Odds worked out to roughly 1 of the above 3 kinds of cards every 3 boxes. My Verdict - 4 men a sniffling; 3 men a tearing up; 2 men a crying - And a case hit never to be seen. 😭😭😭

Ouch!! Not even a cheap mem.....geez!! This product doesn't justify a Kaboom search at all. And maybe it was the lighting but almost every foil rc seemed scratched or scuffed in some way. Thanks for leading us away from this product!!
