Thanks. A thing of beauty. I started looking at these trains (N scale) as a curiosity, now I have a box of engines, cars, flex tracks, tools, parts, a controller... Get the picture? There is no going back.
NICE JOB Larry. I always learn a lot from your installations. However I do have a question. You wired your speakers in series rather than parallel. Would it not be better to hook them up in parallel and have 4 ohms rather than 16 with a series hookup? Isn’t it better for the decoder and the speakers to wire with the smaller ohm draw? This has always confused me and is a major reason why I only install a single speaker. Once again, thanks for the video.
Yes, a pnp would work. The Decoder Buddy gives me the option to add any Decoder I like. It makes installation simple. Some people don't like to solder to a decoder. There are several reasons.

I placed a TCS KA3 keep alive in the cab. It’s possible to get those things in there! Great job
very well explained and demonstrated. Thanks

Thanks for sharing. Great video.
Thanks for watching.
Just an FYI they do make 21 pin motherboards that have a built-in keep alive. Maybe one of them would have fit?

Ok but why a decoder buddy and 21 pin decoder? Wouldn't a PNP/direct style board make more sense?
