It so hard to describe how these remixes make me feel. I'm relaxed and calm, but something about these are so dark and sinister. It feels like a siren song, pulling me into a trance where I feel like I'm completely safe and content but deep down I know that I'm not quite safe, like things could go so wrong at any second.
It's the pang of reality crushing this conjured-up one. We all love to dream and sometimes we become so immersed in them that we can't differentiate between what's real abd what isn't so when it's time to wake up...it's nothing short of frightening and essentially threatens our safe haven. Dreams are our escape from the worlds we live in, no? Atleast that's how i see it.

The original song is from Pinocchio, which came out in 1940. I can just imagine some little boy or little girl, wishing on a star for the war to end and for their daddy to come home safely... This gentle, hopeful song must've brought some degree of peace or escape to the weary inhabitants of a world at war. Listening to this... might have made you feel like everything was going to be okay, if only for a moment.

I’ve felt this before and I’ve felt it for places. In Welsh there is a word called Hiraeth- which is being homesick for a place which you can’t go to which may never have existed. Nostalgia and grieve and yearning.

I was sitting by the seaside, listening to the sound of the beach and your songs while stargazing. I saw a shooting star pass by and I wished. I was coincidentally listening to this song. That time has got to be one of the most peaceful moments I've experienced my whole life.

Listening to this made me feel like I was bidding farewell to my childhood. I don’t think I was ready. I don’t think you ever truly feel ready to grow up, though. I think it just happens.
Our childhoods never really leave. They're always there...in that part of us that never really grows up the whole way.

@@mohdsyakirin867 - Agghhh, it was so AMAZING! It was such a magical experience, I'd definitely go again. But holy moly are the parks huge. I knew they were gonna be big, but I wasn't expecting them to be *massive.* Since it was my first time going I got hella lost, lol. My favorite park, hands down, was Magic Kingdom followed by Epcot and Animal Kingdom.
The rides over there are more fun, too! Compared to the ones in Disneyland, Disney World's are a lot more thrilling! But yeah, for that one week I was a kid again. I already wanna go back. :P
Wow, did you have a good time? Good thing it wasn't in the summer cuz that's when the parks are the most miserable place on earth. I would know cuz I live in Orlando and always had connections so been to the parks more than once. The sweaty crowds and power-draining heat in the hour long lines, not a happy time.

This reminds me of the last new year’s eve party. Everyone was so happy and they sang this song together. I knew I was in reality but it felt like a dream. When I saw this title of video, I felt like I have to enter into this video and I played...oh my god.This song was that song.. the song everyone sang happily. The fascinating memory fades away.
The original song alone has the ability to make me tear up, but this version made me feel such a strong sense of nostalgia and longing that I couldn’t help but cry. This is an absolutely gorgeous remix, great job!

This reminds me of the first time I went to Disneyland, it had been for my sisters birthday and it was a gift from my dad. My dad passed away when I was 15, just three years ago and since then I’ve been to Disneyland again and every time it makes me so happy. And I like to think it’s because it was such a special experience I shared with my family, with my dad. I always wanted to go again with him since when we first went I was far to small to enjoy any of the exciting rides. But now when I go I just imagine my dad fondly waving goodbye to me when I leave the park. Kind of like he’s joining me even if he isn’t physically there.

I feel like those faraway castles and kingdoms of Disney movies are not so far away when I listen to this. There's definitely something so nostalgic about Disney magic vibes and our childhood. It's like trancing you to sleep and dream.. only for us to find out that we have to move on and come back to our realities. That's why it sounds melancholy at the same time, I think. But it still gives me hope that I have happy memories and thoughts to come back to... it's like beckoning us to come back whenever we are somewhere lost and hurt in the real world, and every time it sounds so beautiful.

Haven’t you ever had that person that you grew up with and held your hand and told you stories? They were always there to help you get up? As you got older, you didn’t listen to their stories and spent more time with others and didn’t need their help when you fell or hit rock bottom. But they were there and never left. One day that person finally dies and you can’t even remember their name but you remember all the fine memories you shared together. A tear falls from you and that’s all they need to be respected... to me, this is childhood. I’m not even done childhood but I’m done with the stories and I don’t need help. I hope I don’t forget it.

Each and every time I listen to this, I feel LONGING. Such a sweet, tingling and yet so far and a bit bitter at some point. Like I know something precious exists behind a pitch black of nothingness.
Everytime I hear this I think back to myself as a little kid. Growing up he had to endure so much pain and sadness. He wanted nothing more than to feel happiness and joy. Knowing what that gentle hearted little boy had to go through just makes me wish I could go back in time just to give him a big hug and tell him that everything was gonna be alright. And that he wasn't going to be alone anymore.

This is what plays during the Disney 100 Year Anniversary experience. It will take us all on a ride through our childhoods, letting us see snippets from each Disney movie. All the Disney characters would wave to the screen with teary eyes as if to say, "Go on, you're all grown up now." Of course, Mickey and Minnie would be by our sides this entire time, walking us out of this tunnel of childhood and into adulthood. They let go of our hands and give us the final good night and that's it.
I'm 24 years old and my husband just surprised our two year old daughter and I today with a trip to Disney World next week! Disney has been a huge part of my childhood and I haven't been since I was 16. I'm secretly crying tears of joy alone right now while listening to this because I think I'm way more happy and excited than my Daughter lol
