    Treadwell should not have gone on the plane after the game. He cost them a Super Bowl appearance, but there was no way they would have beaten the Redskins.

      It makes you wonder if the wear and tear was starting to catch up with the Bills? This was the game they won to get to their second of four straight Super Bowls, but it seems like the Broncos softened them up before the big game.

      I didn’t realize this game was as close as it was.
      If it goes the other way, Buffalo goes to three Super Bowls in four years and Denver goes to four Super Bowls in six years (and likely go 0-4; I don’t think they beat Washington).

      @@fortynights1513 That Broncos back up QB was Gary Kubiak who is now ab NFL coach.I can't remember what team he coached.Anyway Kubiak fill in for injured John Elway and scored the Broncos only touchdown on a 1 yard goal line qb sneak.Bills 10 Broncos 7 final.Sometimes I think if Elway didn't get hurt the Broncs might of had more of a chance to get to Super Bowl 26.But it didn't happen.Its also that Him Kelly never got a ring. 🤦‍♂️

    The Bills were known for their awesome defense which is what attributed to their many successes. But as one person pointed out, they were practically unbeatable at Orchard Park. But when they’re out of their element in the Super Bowls, they completely morphed into an average team.

      Michael Irvin fumbling in the 1994 NFC Championship game after Merton Hanks hit him. Merton would do the same thing the next year. He would wrap you up as soon as you would catch and "secure" the ball so it was always borderline.
      And the 1990 NFC Championship game where either Jerry Rice fumbled or never caugh it AND/OR it was the LAST possession of the game where the Giants WR made an obvious push off to get into FG range.

    • @RSH089
      @RSH089 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If Denver's punter, Mike Horan, had kicked field goals that day, the Broncos may have actually had a better shot at winning. The Broncos' placekicker, David Treadwell, was abysmal in 1991. He cost the Broncos a game earlier that season by missing an extra point and field goal in a 17-16 loss to the Los Angeles Raiders in Week 11 at Denver.

    • @justinyoung8062
      @justinyoung8062 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No way. Denver played great but 91 bills were way better team

    • @RSH089
      @RSH089 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I never argued that Denver was a better team than Buffalo in 1991. I stated that the Broncos would have won the 1991 AFC Championship Game with a better placekicker, who missed three (3) kicks in that game. The final score would have been 16 to 10 Denver had Treadwell not missed kicks from 47, 42, and 37 yards. If he just made two of those kicks, Denver wins 13 to 10. www.footballdb.com/games/boxscore.html?gid=1992011202.
