One of the best bits of the (already brilliant) film. Not only do you have Vinnie Jones - one of the Crazy Gang at Wimbledon - acting as a Man U fan (a team which in real life he absolutely despises), but he also seamlessly changes from being a football hooligan to someone learned in the nuances of geopolitical issues. Take a fucking bow my son 👏
I always found it odd that they went with Man U instead of Chelsea, a London club that Jones actually played for. I guess Man U was just a more well known club fo American audiences.
Considering he never played for Manchester, I wonder what his reaction was when discovering that one of his lines was "the greatest football team in the world: Manchester United."
Man, I miss owning this movie. That scene when the Manchester football hooligans chase after that guy wearing that rival team shirt was so hilarious. I love vinnie jones. Such an underrated actor.
Just hilarious that he's playing a Manchester United hooligans leader considering the clubs that he used to play for who were some of their biggest rivals. 🤣
