never ever ignore letters from an HOA get a cease and desist letter sent recorded delivery as soon as they contact you. Then keep it in your records, so you have records showing that they have been informed, makes it easier to sue for harassment.
A HOA that harasses people outside their boundaries and loses in court because of it should have the chance of having the HOA dissolved as a result due to being a public nuisance.
The HOA is lucky the rancher didn't set up a pig pin next to them
When I was in the Military - our Base was about 3 miles downwind of a Pig Farm.... There were days when it was bad enough that nobody could work because of the smell - and everybody throwing up! But the Farm had been there for years, and Farming laws meant that nobody could do anything about it.
Rule Number 1 about HOAs, you're only a member if you've signed a membership contract and their bylaws have no power over you as long as you're not a member.
Can be forced by deed covenants.
When closing on property check or have checked the legal description for such terms.
HOA presidents are either middle-aged women who end up embezzling or retired old men who want power because they never had any in their work life. Both are dangerous.
@@jw0stephens If the house is already a part of HOA, then yes, you join the HOA or you don't get the house. However, if living in a neighborhood and an HOA forms in the already established neighborhood, they cannot force you to join nor are you automatically a part of the HOA without a signed contract. When you sell the home, the new owners nor the home are not part of the HOA because no contract has been signed.
Good to know.
They are in Texas messing with a rancher? They know not what trouble they are in. "Ma'am, I got 30,000 acres and a backhoe. You don't want to ---- with me."
Michigan , I got a floating bog behind house with no bottom .
Kentucky here, we have sink holes.
I'm a Texan. We don't have mountains.
@@ninaappelt9001You have some pretty nice hills near Austin. Really liked the area last time I visited friends.
There's a lesson to be learned here, ie Yah don't f**k around with the Lone Ranger.
I love the ranch story especially the ending what he did for the kids I'm sure they love that but I'm an old farmer sometimes when people trespass on private property especially farmland they don't leave
Cool HOA story but I wouldn't be wanting people running around all over my ranch. Private is private. It would be a huge insurance liability. I call BS
These HOA's know when properties are grand fathered and outside their jurisdictions. If enough constituents across the country but enough pressure on elected officials maybe they can go away forever. The developers are what cause these types of issues. Don't Mess With Texas.😂😅😊 The homeowners should go after the board members for the waste of their HOA fees.
Nice story, however the person who wrote it almost certainly has no knowledge about livestock ranches. To make money a 200 acre ranch would need to be a Confined Animal Feed Operation (CAFO) or breeding registered cows. To restrict the cattle to what the land can support the number would need to be reduced to no more than 100, with a more reasonable number of 60-70, depending on the yearly precipitation and the grass growing season.
I have worked agricultural research for both USDA and a Land Grant College. I have worked on farms, CAFOs, as well as being raised on a farm. My grandparents shut down a small dairy when I was eleven years old.
Very few of these stories are real. They pick a reddit post and alter it slightly, then throw it through AI and voila, quick cash.
Funny to think that 100 years earlier, the HOA patrol would have been shot as cattle rustlers with no questions asked.
One of my requirements for the settlement would have been abolishing the homeowners association entirely.
As soon as Karen turned and stated that this wasn't over, I would of informed the Deputy to arrest her for Trespassed. Then I would of told her, you are right, it's not over. See ya in Court.
There is a silver lining.
Morrow of the story, "EVERYTHING IS BIGGER IN TEXAS".
This is why homeowners associations should be illegal. And should have 0 authorities over anything at all
Mandatory HoAs should be, they would be okay if they were voluntary.
"If I make you mad please just tell my so I can fix it."
LOL
Living next to a ranch that sells meat and eggs is the dream.
In Texas 2A is legal
The Whispering Pines story is probably one of most imagative use of an AI, if this story is made-up.
I would have sued them immediately
Like the old saying, F around find out.
I never heard of a cow being afraid of an electric golf cart. B.S. You sir must be a city dweller.
The petty revenge only decided to spend the extra money on a resaved parking pass to piss off a Brad. lolz
unfortunately, HOA board members get carried away by their egos. To quote an old adage, there is no I in team. also to quote a line from Top Gun, her "ego was writing checks (her) body couldn't cash". another adage is " a big fish in a small pond".
Your lucky they didnt find your ranch a public nuisance and close you down. Like the neighborhood that was built next to a pig farm. They sued because of the smell and won. Our court system is crazy.
3:52 Sarah's response here was basically her saying, "What you did was so devilishly petty that I NEVER want to piss you off. Ever"
Ah the old ifvyou cant dazzle them baffle them with BS
Rule number 1: never screw with a farmer/rancher!
There bylaws can only be enforced on there property try that speech with the wrong one they find iut real quick what private property means
you know in Polk County Florida if anybody comes in your property you're allowed to exercise your second amendment right!
Every single time one of these stories are read, Karen is always the HOA person I have a feeling they are fake
If they didn't like the smell of a cattle farm then maybe they shouldn't have built their damn development there I think it's called he's grandfathered in his property was their first
Yeah by a century duh 100 years.
Building a home next to an existing ranch or abattoir, ALWAYS results in lawsuits because of ignorance. ("Oh, I didn't know it would smell so bad!!") Real estate agents should be forced to disclose, and purchasers sign off on foreknowledge to potential smells to protect the business.
People move to the country to escape the city and eventually wind up bringing everything they tried to escape with them.
treat HOA people as you would cops..............
Good one. The Lone Star cattle ranch 1, Qaren 0
Hate having to scan through videos to find the actual story mentioned in the title. Sometimes it's not even there.
FYI, "social" is not pronounced "soak-al".
The first story is a word-for-word copy of A Jessica Vanel story. If this is her intellectual property you should give her credit.
The first story sounds like one from Jessica Vanel...
You should open carry when on your property that’s legal I’ll bet you can do that in Texas
Texas is open carry without a license unless you fall under specific restrictions such as being a convicted felon.
Imagine thinking that a private company can write rules concerning someone else’s property, and believing it has the force of law behind it.
Btw I ❤your landscape scenes
You should lead with the story you're advertising.
What we don't know if this is a made up story or is the truth. But what we do know if there is a video by camera is more likely to be the truth . Everyone wants to see a crabby HOA on video.. Not a story
Here piggy piggy 11:24
On your border of the HOA put up pigs sty .....
My bad, it's Whispering Meadows not Whispering Pines.
Off topic, but what AI is being used for the background art, I really like the results.
These stories have a ring of bullshit about them. And the robovoice - jeez, of all the choices, select the most grating one available?
How can you prove these stories that you are reading are true.
Sorry, titled story buried in content with no obvious breaks to find what I'm interested in, I'm out.
When/if you listen and learn you may become able to improve!
😊
Stop using ai generated stories

Hey Viewers -- STOP WATCHING all this Artifical Intelligence BULLSHIT. Don't allow content creators to make money on such baloney. It's crap with no human fact-checking.
AI should be used to scrub the toilet and clean the house -- so that humans have time to do artistic, creative things. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
