This is my next move is to put 63 gal tank in stock position because Iam going to Alaska hauling my Bigfoot truck camper and a aluminum jet boat tandem axles and it doesn’t need 2 axles but if I blow a tire I can keep on trucking until I cand get to a good spot to change it out .
Looking at a 36 gal fuel transfer in bed tank from TSC it takes up only 11” of bed space & fits my Rambox but must be fabricated for gravity feed. Much cheaper then replacing the main tank, is correct. Put in my own aux tank in my ‘83 Chevy diesel on the other side of the trucks oem tank, filled at wheel well, it’s a shame they don’t make them any more !
@@EddieLife3500 I think on RAM your distance to empty will not be accurate, that's what Titan told me on their tanks. And can't reprogram to be accurate like Ford. Maybe you have better info.
You can set the computer to w/e new size tank you have installed with a OEM computer that can talk to the vehicles software. On the Ram 3500 the miles to empty is corrected and range is adjusted. Long beds can get a 60 gallon!!!

Tank was empty when he installed it. How do you think he drove it to the station??? He quite possibly used a diesel can to put a few gallons in the tank so he could get to the station. Come on Jordan.
Wow I can’t believe that you go through all that trouble for gas....In five years you’ll be driving electric car,I mean truck sorry. We all will. Well not all of us.the Ford Chevy dodge fans are kind of hosed.because those companies decided to wait till the last minute to start making electric vehicles and now they’re 10 years behind everybody else. Look on the bright side those companies have so much money they’ll just buy another company that has Technology they need and then you’ll be making the same videos except you’ll be changing batteries look forward to those
5 yrs pft.....EV's have been staggered for 5 yrs. No battery can perform the mission of these trucks (yet) and there is nothing even close. May be in 25 yrs. Electric semi is a pipe dream so far. The weight and life of batteries are too prohibitive. Battery tech is going to need a light year jump to start to really replace fossil fuels.
@@EddieLife3500 not trying to start anything but the first cars werebut they realized that there was a lot more fuel available to power these vehicles so they stuck with gas. I realize the reason people don't want to go to and it's for the simple fact that there is no missing or tinkering with the car. Electric vehicles are for one purpose to get you to from point A to point b Gas vehicles are a hobby because they have so many moving parts that go bad it allows you to fix the car which becomes therapeutic for some people. I am one of those people I have a 65 mustang fastback that I mess around with all the time. You can't do that with today's cars. But I'm not stuck in the past and I know that the future is electric. And eventually we will be able to tinker and mess with those cars as well. You will just have to have an engineer degree to do so

I put an s&b tank in my 13 powerstroke. Great quality product and even sent me a tuner to borrow to reser my miles until E. Very satisfied
Meanwhile, Ford comes stock with a 48 gallon tank haha. Jokes aside, love seeing S&B bringing these new tanks to the market.
More then 48. Can get the extended tank and im pretty sure they give you a 52gal tank as well
But then you’d have to own a ford and not many men want to feel so feminine.
2020 Ram 3500 has a 50 gallon tank
I put the Titan 55 in my '19 dually, and extended towing range is great. Naturally, a 50 gal tank is a factory option for the longbox in '20.
FYI- I believe the Alpha OBD app lets you change the tank size- that should correct your distance to empty

You can change how much fuel it has with alpha obd on the ram.

It will, the forums have instructions. You can change the number (in liters) that the fuel tank holds

The factory puts these small tank on for one reason to raise their pay load . They have to beat the 2 other two brands .

In my Dodge with 63 gal tank and can go well 1K miles. The price is outrages it should be about half the asking price.
