Great plane, great player, great aiming. This thing is a terror for 3.7 - 5.0 planes. Only been able to beat it 1 v 1 using either yak 3 on the deck or G.55 when avoiding any vertical movements
Sorry Mac but this plane don’t overheat at all, I use 16% of radiators and it’s just yellow temperature , 5% in winter maps and still white temperature…
Zero's don't have have self-sealing fuel tanks. Instead of burning up they just drain completely empty and then the fire goes out. Probably doesn't make the most amount of sense.
I play PM-1 now, and after 27 battles I have 2,5 kills per battle and 10 kills per death, I'm happy with that, but I must to say, that i totaly hate matchmaking. Almost every battle is my team US+USSR+Sweden. Its totaly shit combination on this BRs. This team is vaporizing very quickly. So it's very hard for me to have a good win rate with this plane in these days. I'm not capable of a better win rate than around 50% (I struggled with the same thing on Yak-3 before..)
I’m using 16% radiators on classic maps, 5% on winter maps, 100% prop pitch (btw why this DB605 engine can be used with manual prop pitch while you can’t with 109’s 🤔) For others settings, there is no mixture or supercharger gear so this plane is easy to use.
@romainpibs7128 damn those are some low percentages. I was using 25% for the engine and 35% for oil and 100% prop pitch (yeah i was wondering why it works different here than in bf 109's as well)
I used to play for grinding the tech trees, but I’ve noticed that when I just play for fun then I have a better time, cause I’m not always worrying about getting the max RP. There’s also not many planes in the Swedish tech tree that are interesting to me, so I just research whatever.

Would you mind sharing your MEC settings for this plane? Im starting to play around with it and i cant seem to find optimal ones anywhere

@ sometimes after a long dogfight the temperature goes orange/red so then I adjust the radiators, but the rest of time 16% and that’s good.
I do have a question, why do you keep using it in above tier 4, I mean what I saw was you grinding jets, its max effiecy is Tier 1 tier 4

@@johnsheldon-ik7rn it’s up to you, but the PM-1 is an excellent plane, great for flying for fun or to grind out the Swedish free up to rank IV
