Just a correction guys: The fire station was never burnt down. It was old and uninhabitable. They moved the personnel to Montego Freeport at a temporary location until the new one was built.

Thanks for the tour. I know some roads heee in America is not better but those roads are really in need of repairs. I know the car repair is a constant thing for you guys there
I hope they plan to start that project soon because it looks very embarrassing right now. I hope they also plan to provide an urban center in Black River also. That town center desperately needs renovation too.
Had a coworker with a specialist appointment that took months to get. She requested half a day off and was denied, so she went to HR. After that incident, for such appointments, it became a sick day 😂 too bad for them, even if it was a 2 hr appointment. One girl even called in sick to go to a day time show as an audience member; long story short, I saw her on the show; we talked about it and she was like “ I don’t care, this place is a joke 😂😂
@BrownBossJaTours I guess if it was used by tourists it would've been fixed up donkeys years ago. I remember on one visit using it and seeing men pissing in that stream as well as being confused as to where to catch a bus to Bethel town.
@@CDN_Store lol I believe that it will get the transformation it deserves real soon. The people need to come out more though and demand it. It is our city and it is the year 2024 where modern technology is taking over the world.
Honestly, I don't remember that transport center, I use to live in Mobay before I migrate as a child going to Harris High across from Jarret park, and the only car park I remember it was near the big post office which was or maybe still close by the new harmony park.
The urban center should be placed where the sewage ponds are in Montego bey, it would be the perfect location for an urban center as it would be right beside the new Montego Bay bypass. The sewage ponds can be relocated to a spot where they should’ve been placed from the beginning. Imagine something like what Morant bay is getting taking the place of the sewage ponds, having this done would make doing business with the government so much more accessible.
Thanks for the tour. That whole area looks like a dump/ ghetto. I had no idea the area was so large. It should be like the transport centre in Kingston with multiple floors for bus, taxes and even private cars to park. The buildings in arcades some look abandoned others used for homes rather than business. I hope this plan to develop the area is done within the next 2 years.
The crime is mostly dominant in the local inner city areas, so for the main city area like the bus park, it should have been transformed a longtime ago and allow more local businesses to invest in that area.
What a disgrace. Look at the condition of the road surface at Railway lane, the bus terminal and the people's arcade. Imagine this all is in the centre of the town. What the heck is the Parish council doing. Let's watch and see what will be done with these roads between now and Christmas.
It is a big disgrace for locals to endure such a messy bus terminal and it is just because it is not used by tourist why we haven’t seen faster action being done.
The Montego Bay urban center should be placed where the sewage ponds are not, that would be perfect as it would easily be fed by the new Montego Bay bypass.

Trust me the taxi operators and owners are feeling the blunt of it every single day
Wow that place need a lot of attention roads are in deplorable condition
Yes indeed

I hope so too. It is long overdue.

This place is a joke for real
From mi start anchovy high school in 2003 this road stays like this
@@Venomhypetv Years ago I tell you.
The roads are deplorable. It's full time for a new transformation of Montego Bay.
It’s long overdue
Montego Bay is the tourist capital and the transport station/terminal looks like a DUMP 😒
It should have gotten a facelift longtime ago
@BrownBossJaTours I guess if it was used by tourists it would've been fixed up donkeys years ago.

@BrownBossJaTours the great thing is it doesn't have to be. Maybe it takes one boss 😉 to remind the people that they're talawah and can demand change.

I think it would cost a lot of money and resources to relocate the sewage pond though.
Look at rhe road on my city

Thanks for watching and yes the area has great potential.
That entire location needs to be demolished redesigned and rebuilt .this is just so sad and disgusting disgraceful to look at 😢
I echo the same
In my view, the authorities are failing to tackle the problems with the Montego Bay road because of the city's high crime rate.🙆♀️
The crime is mostly dominant in the local inner city areas, so for the main city area like the bus park, it should have been transformed a longtime ago and allow more local businesses to invest in that area.
I went through Montego Bay to Negril for vacation, but I did not see this: appalling.
Mostly locals use it, so tourists don’t really see this side of the town.

Raw sewage is between the Transport Center and People's Arcade where you were before on this video.
Yes I figured. Thought he was referring to another part.
@@BrownBossJaTours No, only right there.
The entire area will need a makeover. Definitely unsafe and unsightly.
Complete makeover
So much to be done government can't do it alone
Clear sign of urban neglect, it will require extensive end to end transformation to make it livable.

Yea man
For a tourist resort city. No road in Montego Bay shouldn't be in such state.
💯
This road looking real bad I am wondering if the government of Jamaica don’t see this come on Mr prime Minister do something
The tourism capital of Jamaica 🇯🇲
Wow, this is very ugly for the tourist capital of the country.
Ugly indeed
STOP LYING!!!THIS IS NOT IN JAMAICA!!!THIS IS SOME WHERE IN SOUTH SUDAN!!!😢😮😅😊
lol
Even if they fix this deplorable area it going to be very mediocre.
Well it seems as if they might do something similar to the St Thomas urban center

They really need to relocate the ponds
