  • Hey everyone, this is a build I did for the corner of a 900x600x450 bearded dragon enclosure.
I didn’t seal this background but highly recommend it if you’re doing in a “wet” enclosure. The sand/cement broke down and crumbled on a test rock I did when wet all the time without being sealed with a clear pond sealer.
I usually use Grout with a grout additive for my builds but decided to try something different. All a learning curve.
    Materials include:
    Insulation foam panel.
Hot glue or Gorilla expanding glue for sticking pieces together.
Grout and grout 4in1 additive (don’t recommend sand/cement and bondcrete like mentioned in video)
    Acrylic paints and brushes.

What Grout and grout 4in1 additive do you recommend? Also what sealer? I want to make a background for an aquarium. Do you have a recent video on the best products to use? Thanks so much!

@@jonisolis9645 I haven’t built one for an aquarium so can’t confirm nor deny what products work sorry. I went away from using grout and additives in later builds. I wasn’t getting the outcome I wanted when using grout. The additive I used in this video was Davco 4in1
