English Pair should've got a red card. They intentionally delayed their stance to get ready when Jordan was obviously waiting for them to do so. I agree with the umpire saying the game should've been sped up more, but the card should've been given to Smith. It's pretty classless and disrespectful when Jordan is giving you the time to get ready but Smith is intentionally wasting way too much time getting ready.
No opponent like that deserves respect after that fiasco.

Umpire from england..Thats way the umpire gived the yellow card to praven..Umpire not fair, better if umpire come from different country with the player..

I'm not English nor Indonesian but initially I was rooting for the English team since they are the underdogs here. Didn't take long before they show their true colors -- kinda like spoiled brats bullying the umpire. First time I've seen them so this image will last forever. So glad the Indonesians won. Praveen stayed very professional till the end -- such composure amid the tensions.

The English pair kept making the server wait. Ellis keeps his hand up and his eyes on the floor. Smith keeps springing up out of her stance. No wonder the Indonesian pair held their serves.
Jordan was just waiting for them to get settled in before he served. Oktavianti was also kept waiting, but she waits with her shuttle hand up, hence no warning.

i was rooting for the indonesians but i did acknowledge the great play of the british folks.
Unfortunately the latter had to spoil the mood with challenging the empire; which is not correct at all.
And i agree with the commentators that jordan was just waiting for his opponent to be ready first... Right before the empire called him for warning, it was smith who was delaying to get ready. jordan was just there waiting for her to be ready but she kept stopping the game.

1st half play in the 2nd game....the english did lift the shuttle up to Jordan so often....but in 2nd half they played so well by minimalizing previous mistakes and made the smart service to the indonesian and also Jordan made so many mistakes, and finnaly the english won the 2nd game
3rd game, it was obviously, the Indonesian made the court like killing field for the Engish

Is It just me or is octavianti crying during that second set when she whipped her eyes. I've watched a couple of their matches i always wondered what's Praveen saying to her when she commits to many errors during the end of a game. The English team is good but Praveen is just to strong that ables him to cover octavianti.

Well its not about what discipline it is but how both pairs performed their top skills. Some XD matches were boring tho.

poor Smith! I would play any game with her LOL, Ellis needs to improve if he wants to paly mixed double. You can not be lifting the shuttle to an opponent who is too good on smashing and you are playing mixed double. If you see the whole game you would see it was his so many mistakes cost the game. Smith was leading the game instead of Him. Anyways, it was good that they played SF. Welldone.

2. Praveen, keakuratan pukulan hrp diperbaiki.
3. Pertahanan saat menerima smash, dilatih utk ttp ke belakang, itu sangat perlu utk mengetahui sejauh mana pengembaliannya (bola2 pendek itu lbh mudah mengaturnya).
