I am now JACKED UP and pumped for sheepshead fishing the New Smyrna Area with my Gheenoe LT25. Hopefully, I will catch a few fiddlers and a few sheepshead. I have been busy crappie fishing Lake Monroe Sanford area.

Yes! we can use oysters, unfortunately they have to be legal harvest size of 3 inches to use them or you will get fined. Even oysters from the walls are illegal. But yes they work amazing as well. Tight Lines!
You need the bait elastic to wrap around that mussel. Also I’ve see another fisherman hook into the hinge and just crack the shell with a rock and it works.
Magic thread works great for making it harder for them to pick you clean!! Also be careful in the mangroves the Bull Ants will ruin your day!! One of the most underrated food fish around!!
Nice sheep
Thanks man!
Maaaaan!!

We will definitely check that out, looks like a good source of bait.

Do you ever use oysters? Here on upper SC coast, we don't have mangroves, so no mussells.

Awesome vid i need all the help i can get. Fishing down here is nothing like NY. Boats in inlet harbor, but man these sheepshead are tricky.
Thanks! Yeah definitely different, but you will get it. These sheepshead are a blast and eat good too! Tight Lines!

Yeah man! Yeah we love big sheepshead!
If you are already in the mud, might as well flip some of those oyster and get some mud crabs. Stud sheepshead bait. Thanks for the tip though.
Yeah, but wanted to do that on another video 😊tight lines!
You’re not scared of alligators down there in Florida. You could be dinging in their den?
Nope not in this area. Thankfully lol
