Have the 2 of the model that was produced before this one and they are built like a tank.Bought them around 5 years ago and they still work.Easy way to put some bass in your ride.
If anyone is watching and interested in buying this subwoofer I will be completely honest and have to say it’s well worth the money with how cheap it is. I had it playing in my truck for right around a year and it actually played 60 and 70 hz pretty damn good. The only down side it had to it was on my way to work I would bass out the whole way which was an hour long and everyday it would go into protect mode. I would let it cool off for a minute and it was good to go again. Other than that i would recommend to a beginner for anyone who is new to bass and is looking for a little sound without trying to beat down the block.
For the price and what you’re getting this is a great deal for anyone from a young person just getting their toes wet in the car audio world all the way to an older fellow who wants a little more kick to the kick drum when he’s listening to some Led Zepplin and cruising in his newly restored muscle car.
Thanks my man. I fee like I have a way with words. If I say something I try to convey as much pertinent information as possible in the most entertaining way so I keep people’s attention and maybe pass on some knowledge.
If it’s a decent sounding system to Begin with this will make it even better by adding the ability to produce bass at lower frequency therefore making the music sound fuller.

You ran the control wire past your upholstery. Might not be safe. I installed one of these in my truck last weekend and yesterday the control wire overheated and the insulation melted off. Be careful.
@@hwbt3126 Yea. The light gauge one. I ran it from the amp, under the trucks floor mat - carefully avoiding any sharp metal - and then up under the dash to the fuse block. I chose a fuse that was switched by the ignition. Everything worked great for a few days and then - "what's that smell"?
